Last Film You Saw

The Ugly Stepsister (2025) - brilliantly bonkers reworking of the Cinderella fairytale from the step-sisters viewpoint. Gruesome at times with some on-the-nose (literally) body horror, but also very funny. Some great cinematography backed by a synth soundtrack which should be incongruous but works. Norwegian director, I watched with subtitles, don't know if there's a dubbed version. Think it's a satire on society's beauty expectations for women and the obsession with cosmetic surgery, in a similar vein to last year's The Substance.

8.5/10 from me, a film you'll either love or hate.

Downey Jr is a box office Marvel draw, for sure and Marvel are doing a reset of stories using 'Doom' to do it. Should see some and new characters coming through.

Downloaded this last night after watching the trailer, looks different and interesting.

They always have a plan, but that plan always depends on the numbers generated from the film they put out.
 
Never Grow Old. Really enjoyed it. However 1 thing I cannot work out. When the undertaker burns down the house. What does he use as this was before the days of petrol
