Last Film You Saw

The naked gun. I would have naturally assumed it was dreadful and avoided it but had actually heard good things so put it on. I should have stuck with my assumption. There was about 3 genuine laughs in the mould of the original, rest of it was rubbish.

I genuinely cannot think of the last decent comedy film to come out.
Trains, planes & automobiles

Yeah it's slim pickings, they won't stand up to some of the classics but a couple of decent one that come to mind are

- friendship
- tag
- vacation friends
- Ricky stanicky
- no hard feelings
- palm springs
- long shot
- blockers
- game night
- deadpool movies

Saw The Banshees of Insherin and was blown away. Both Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson are just amazing, fantastic film.

Based on this I then watched In Bruges, not as good, though the 2 leads were fine, but Ralph Fiennes as a cockney gangster? Don't think so.

Gleeson also great in glumfest Calvary.

Baby girl with Nicole Kidman. It was absolutely shite. Me and the missus had had a few drinks but were both turned off watching it. Nicole’s knees are not looking good for 57.

You lost the argument with the last 2 on your list

Bit of a twist at the end there :)
Ffs Bill. All I will be thinking about when I watch it, is that bloody twist. I will be looking at every scene, every character, every possible plot line, behavoural nuance, subtext, motives, imagined or otherwise, mostly imagined, to the point of distraction. Thanks a million.

You can go right off people.

This is exactly why I love films, and similarly music. For me Banshees was utter dribble, one of the most boring films ever made, this film makes watching grass grow interesting..
