The nice part is where those who benefit from mass immigration live. They love immigration, they tell us it's good for the country, how the culture is a great benefit to everyone, they don't want it anywhere where they live though. its the local councils that let there own people down and how many MP really now about there constituency when they fuck of to there nice home in the country or live in London in there 2nd homes. some of them coucil housing estates have been been left to rot and let go for years and years that only the immigrant that have nothing would live there. it really is like walking into a war zone on them council estates that should have been knock down years ago

forget mixing immigrant with british people (we would not live in some of them homes) that they have to and that's why we have built this gap between us and immigrant. yes its sometimes down to racism but also its down to jealous we do treat them like dirt and 2nd class and racism is a 2 way thing

London's a shithole - you might not like it but its an incredibly thriving cosmopolitan area. There are millions of immigrants who have come to London and contributed to its economy, the city is full of diverse and integrated communities in a way that few other cities can compete with. Even places like Tottenham, Harlesden, Lewisham or Peckham have a vibrancy that most non-London suburbs would love to have.

Great pay and spot on in so many ways . As long as the 1% can continue to divide the plebs and turn them against each other rather than look up - then nothing will change

He was pointing out a very real problem, I know plenty of lovely Welsh speaking villages being ruined by loud mouthed English coming in and buying places up and not assimilating at all happens in Spain as well . It's been happening in the Celtic
Fringes for years and was it not the main raisom d'etre for Irish republicanism.

What nationality are you out of interest?

As far as Welsh and Scottish go they pretty much all speak English(as well as their own dialect) by choice nothing to do with people moving there(these aren't far away lands cut off from the outside world and there are obvious reasons why English is taught in schools) and while they have anti-English sentiment out of national pride, aside from the obvious they aren't that much different than us(it's not a huge island for a start) when all is said and done it wont be a shock or feel alien for a Welshman in England or vice versa. Wherever you go in the UK they have as many loudmouths of their own who are just as bad if not worse depending where you go(you're talking like the Orks are invading middle earth there) and second of all what about all the pensioners who move to simply enjoy a peaceful retirement somewhere nice? You think anyone has a problem with that? That's the most common reason for it that I've come across and none of the people I knew could be considered loudmouths or ruiners of villages.

As for Spain(Costa Del Sol I take it? You can name the places on one hand I reckon too)... yeah how dare the English go there and spend all that money. The Spanish certainly didn't encourage none of that sort of thing themselves du£ to the influx of ca$h!

It is very interesting to see a people whose whole wealth and whole nation was built on sending their culture out to the world and forcing language, laws, education and religion on to people suddenly crying foul when a little bit of their own medicine comes back!

Something is happening and it's quite right that these things can be pointed out or discussed without people getting over sensitive(handing out racism cards willynilly) at the mere mention of the subject of immigration.

I mean the English wouldn't dream of going to another country, foisting English on them, exporting Christianity, pushing our laws down etc would we?

Imagine the native Americans, aboriginals , Inuits , Maori etc got to repatriate the tena of millions of people who stole their countries back to the UK - that would be mass migration .....

As for the native Americans? I'm no history expert by any means but I don't think we can take the credit for that(Vikings and Spanish got there first north and south and the rest was a big free for all I thought), I mean aren't you missing out quite a lot of nationalities that were involved in that and a war of independence from us all together? Anyway Americans are reminded of that (and Slavery) very often it's by no means something you can say "oh they did it too so it's ok" it's a sad thing when it happens(that you can go to the US and not see a single Native American is a loss), we are supposed to learn from the mistakes of the past as we aim to become more civilized as a species. I mean what happened there wasn't good there either I think you'd agree by the point you made so... you do get it.

At this rate with the daily mail massive, instead of a war being fought as usually happened when one set of people invade another country, we'll have these PC warriors fighting their cause with crybully tactics whenever someone dares to question whether their country (and yes it is our country because our heritage, our culture is tied to these lands same as Native Americans was to theirs we have long long rich history here, it may not to you but that means something to a lot people so you can't tell them it's worthless) needs to take a closer look at immigration in general to see if there's a better way of managing it. There has always been immigration and always will be nobody is saying it's bad(again diversity is good what was discussed was not that), in fact quite a lot of people if they look back far enough might find their decedents immigrated here at some point but they integrated and in some cases they accepted and embraced the English culture what's being discussed here is different and it's being done on a bigger scale than has been seen before(just how big is probably being exaggerated by some far right wing but it has changed a large amount comparatively). I really don't think some of the left wingers quite understand what people are trying to say... both the left and right wing all too often simply wont allow themselves to even hear the other side to the point of ignorance(I'm neither). I get the impression some are saying this is all fine we should simply "ignore it, accept it and let it happen and if you happen to disagree with that well you're a racist ****!". Quite the attitude to take from a left wing perspective too considering it's kind of authoritarian behavior.

Immigration from regions that are broadly culturally similar and won't bring the issues with integration/assimilation would be most welcome.

That isn't politically correct though, and means actively discriminating against people who wish to migrate here, so instead we'll just bash all immigration with broad strokes and be as vague and non discriminatory as possible. All the while there develops a growing chasm in the country around race and religion, and we grow closer and closer to serious social unrest.
