No no no... listen... I hereby declare, that if oldham agrees to a bet of let's say 10 quid on this topic I will definitely pay him that money if Villa comes to City.

I'm not one for usually posting rumours or anything but....


I was playing FM09 and i fiddled with our reputation and put it on a par with Valencia, for added realism. Anyway when i clicked on player search the 3 players top of the list were David Villa, Kaka and Buffon.

Make of that what you will.

Theres still a couple of weeks to go yet though!? if this is an indication hes coming, is it worth checking out other starting line ups this weekend? A.C Milan, Juventus, etc?

my point is they aren't realistically looking for 100,000,000 they know nobody will pay that much for him. also if he wants to move they cant charge as much for him

well that's fine then. we can just be a bit patient, they'll go under, and Villa and Silva will be unemployed. better transfer fee.

Well oldham has staked his credibility on his latest statement. If he is right then fair play. If not then this should be put to bed.

It wouldnt surprise me if he say played 45mins, subbed at half time, "injured" etc and out for a couple of weeks. Obviously our owners would have some sort of reprieve should he actually get injured during the game. Doing it this way might keep the rumour mill at bay in the press and allow things to progress behind the scenes.
