Laurence Fox launches political party

They sound like bedfellows in reality.

How Simon Hoare voted on Social Issues #

  • Has never voted on equal gay rights
  • Has never voted on allowing marriage between two people of same sex
  • Generally voted against laws to promote equality and human rights

I don’t know what Fox’s view is on those subjects, his view isn’t even that right wing, he just tends to be a tosser.

Regarding Mr Hoare’s voting record there, he got one out of three right at least.

Which one out of the three do you mean?

I'm not sure of LF views on those gay marriage and rights but it is possible to draw an inference from him calling gay people paedophiles on twitter and targeting the lgbt bbc correspondent for a pile on that he is happy to use this issue in his games.

Number 2 is what I agree with voting wise, that’s more of a religious view than anything else.

I don’t subscribe to persecution of anyone and certainly don’t condone Fox saying gays are similar to paedophiles if that’s what he said.

I have been clear, Fox is a tosser and not representative of the sensible conservative movement, neither are the Tories for that matter.

Oh dear.

"Anyone who doesn’t think two gay people deserve the same love and opportunity of marriage is a ****."

Your own words not mine.

I'm not sure what religious views have to do with not allowing civil marriages in the secular sphere. There is nothing in that law compelling religious groups to conduct same sex ceremonies.
