In statistical terms same sex divorces are in single figure percentages, whereas it tends to hover between 30 & 40 percent for opposite sex divorces. That said there are so few same sex divorces that the numbers are susceptible to very large statistical variations from comparatively few marriage break ups. In 2015 there were 22 same sex divorces, for instance, whereas the following year it was six times that amount.
There are about two female same sex divorces for every male divorce, though the same caveat obviously applies.
well, the obvious factor being that in gay marriages men aren't married to women.
