Lautaro Martinez

Well if we buy him he is not expected to make immediate impacts. He will be specially evaluated after next season. We are looking to replace Aguero here. No better strikers are available now. May be Kane but neither they nor us are interested in Kane. Him and Jaoa Felix are the two interesting us. If the price is right we will buy one of them if not then next season.
Felix is a wonderful player, but not an out and out striker, Martinez is the one for me at the moment, but, if we have the cash , would be amazing to get both.

Felix in, Mahrez out!!!

Haaland is a goalscorer. Martinez isn't.

Goals win you games. Might catch on....
The goals a team score win games, individuals not so much, see spurs for example. If Martinez scores less but the team score more job done. How many did the liverpool centre forward get this season?

Haaland wants United it seems as they for obvious reasons want to play for ole and am sure the rags will spend big to riola and Alfie.

I don't understand why he isn't there already if that's the case.

Why bother going to Dortmund rather than straight to the swamp, when they were in the market for a striker & would pay much higher wages ?

it was the payments to mino and alfie that was one problem but I think the major one was the buyout clause this time around?

I would go straight in for Haaland, for that reason.

We have the question of whether he 'fits' Pep's system of course. Well we also have the question of how long Pep is fitting our system, he might leave. Any other manager, would be happy with Haaland. Soon he will go way way beyond our usual transfer limit, so he will eventually be playing against us, for a rival, unless we get him.

If Pep decides he's staying for ten years but can't get Haaland to adapt perfectly, we could still sell him on without it costing us.

Because he will score goals, whatever. He would score, for us, it's obvious. So he'd be worth money.

We get Haaland, it takes him away from our rivals, it also means that anyone in the market for Sancho gets screwed, because they Dortmund don't need the money.

So it's a good strategic signing as well as adding a bunch of goals to our total.
