Lawro's Prediction for Manchester City v Wolves

This perception that we let in stupid goals only really applies to away games.

To repeat, in the last 13 PL home games since we played Wolves we have only let in 3 goals at home and scored 32...

So 10-1 it is then! Or would it be more statistically accurate to predict 2.46 - 0.0769 :)

It was only 1 nil until Evans had to pull Mario down because he was going to make it 2. And it was only 3-1 until we scored the last 3? Is that really Lawrenson's reasoning for it not being as bad a result for united as we think?

3-0

I havent heard from a single City fan saying that we will win the league after the Old Trafford game.
Some have been saying from the start that City will win it other are not so sure.
Who are saying that because we win United we will win the league?

And I am sick and tired of hearing just because you won at Old Trafford you havent won the league.
WE KNOW THAT, WE KNOW THAT UNITED IS NOT FINISH . But this win helped and we loved it.

I thought we 'could' win the League at the start of the Season - nothing would have changed win/lose/draw last w/e. Fact is we could/should have won the League LAST Season had Mnacini not been soooo cautious.
Now he's finally let lose the dogs of war, we should from strength to strength.
Frankly its Chelsea who are, and will be our rivals, this and future Seasons. United are not our main concern and last week was just another three points........................

United will *surely* sign a decent creative midfielder come January though. They've been so weak there for ages. I don't think the shambles we saw last week will be anything like representative of the united in the 2nd half of the season.

fuck all this "when the goal fest ends" blah blah.enjoy it,we deserve it,it wont end for weeks yet! put your money on 6-1 or 6-0.

United need about two quality midfielders - say Modric and Hamsik - and their glaring weakness would be solved. Baconface will spend heavily next summer.
