We should defo field at least two kids in the starting line-up, with more coming on if the game goes well.

What's the risk? All we'd be doing is dropping a couple of jaded big names who would put in a half-arsed performance.

Always supposing we both go through. This is not a gimmie, peeps.
Agree, palace set up counter attacking away from home and the way we play leaves us exposed to that,i think it will be a tough game

I'm going to get this in now FFS willy, save me typing it later lol

Iheanacho has plenty of self confidence and he has show glimpses of what he is capable of but If we do start him we will probably get to see why Pellegrini is reluctant to give him more time at this stage.

Maybe, maybe not. But if he really does have potential he needs to get serious playing time.

Pellers has expressed his desire to compete in all four cups, so I see the strongest possible team being put out to start with and resting when and if we can afford to.
I would agree with that too.

I can see it happening, but just don't agree with it. then again I'm one of the misguided few that want us to feature more youth players in PL matches instead of buying talent each year. was excited that we looked to have 3 young players to be featured plenty this season ... but didn't happened. I'll agree I should never run a club since my way would have us competing for the top 4 instead of the title, but that won't stop me from having an opinion

There is no gurantee of winning anything else win or lose tonight

very very true.

however if I have (hypothetically) a 20% chance each to win a couple competitions and one comp pays out tens of thousands of dollars/pounds more than the other and will be frequently used to promote the club world wide, then you can bet your ass I'd risk losing the other comp in order to improve my percentages at winning the more important one.

Arsenal's performance last night against Sheffield Wednesday has shown the other side of the coin. Iwobi had impressed me when I watched him in Arsenal's pre season games (similar to what Kelechi had done with us) but he didn't make much of an impact when he started.
