Why are the club still allowing people to join the league cup scheme to get derby tickets surely defeats the point of it

Is that correct?
If it is its out of order, surely if you take the leap of faith before the season kicks off then you deserve the reward. In my case maybe being able to get to a derby at the swamp for the first time in about 12 years.
