League Cup Final Ticket Allocation {merged}

I probably should have been clearer as the last thing I want to sound is arrogant. My issue is not with the season ticket holders its with the club not giving any recognition to people who attend (and have attended for a long time) all home cup games.

I didn't used to be in a financial position to be able to attend every game in all competitions. Now my life is going the way I want it I have been to every home game this season and perhaps going forward a season ticket is something which will benefit me. What I'm asking is some sort of recognition for the history I do have in cup completions as historically these are always the games I have been to.

I'm sure you can see my frustration.
Anyways I will do all I can to ensure I get a ticket.

You get points for every game you attend, that is your recognition from the club.

Thanks for that..

It doesn't matter if I have 100k points unless I'm a season ticket holder I can not officially purchase a ticket.

They want better attendances at mid week cup matches.. do you not think having some glimmer of hope of actually attending a final if you aren't a season ticket holder would be intensive enough to have better attendances?

I do think a cup scheme for people without season tickets is a good idea to be fair.

The one thing I have a problem with is the points system really,I had a season tickets for years at Maine Rd,ie- a regular,and also got one the season we moved into Etihad,but about 4 years ago I had to stop having a season ticket,and only got one again this season,yes my points were carried forward,but as of today I have 3620 points,which is shit,and never ever gonna catch the 8/9/10,000 crew,so after spending thousands myself over the years,including quite a few aways,I am as far down the list than most of our supporters,which isn't really to fair considering the number of years I have had a season ticket.

This is where attendance at previous cup games (rather than just blindly going off points per game) would actually give you a chance of attending. As it stands you're on the list but right down the bottom. If season cards get passed on as they so often do (which is another debate entirely) how can anyone hope to catch up.

Looking at the type of games people have attended or cup schemes is a good way of giving access to people that love the cup.

I know I will never have enough points to attend a home or away derby PL match and I'm fine with that.

I was in a fortunate position that I could get 2 x FA Cup final tickets every year,but that source has finished now,so this season I did join the FA Cup scheme,just in case,but now I have a dilemma as to whether I will get a Capital One ticket or not,either way I'll have to wait and see

Scousers buying up Club Wembley tickets according to someone I know with them. Already told me I will be sat next to some!!

I wish you luck mate.

I know I’m having a moan (what better place to do it than bluemoon) but at the end of the day at least we’re regularly in finals these days! I have an Evertonian mate in work, poor lad is absolutely gutted and he can’t confidently say they will be in that position again for a while.

The midweek cup matches are the area where attendances and atmosphere can fall down. It is right that season ticket holders on cup schemes get priority but beyond that some recognition to non season card holders who have done every cup game in a season would help. As it stands you could do every midweek fixture / cup game and you would rank behind someone who has a season ticket and turns up only for big weekend games. That doesn’t seem right to me even though the season ticket is a much bigger financial commitment.
