League or Champions League?

Which would you rather win?

Big push for domestic treble.
FA Cup looks like it is there for the taking. League now in our own hands.

CL will probably be taken away from us by Referees at some point anyway.
 
I always struggle with the PL or CL question because I want both! With the team we have I want us to do the double when we first win the CL. I would always be delighted if we won the CL almost irrespective of the circumstances. But I also think that if the team is capable of winning the PL then "just" winning the CL would slightly take the edge off. If we were in Chelsea's position in 11/12, when winning the PL wasnt a realistic proposition, then winning the CL is obiously a huge achievement. But we started the season with the capability of winning both so that''s what I want rather than either/or.

If it did come down to one or the other this season I would opt for the PL. Back to back titles, our 4th title this decade and recovering from 7 points in arrears on New Year's Day would make it very special.
 
Personally, I would go for the league, but the CL would benefit the club more in terms of money and the ability to attract super stars. As a competition, I find the CL too drawn out.
 
retaining the league title this season would be amazing for so many reasons, so that gets my choice.

couple it with a losing 2-legged thrill fest against Barca in the semis and i'll have it.
 
I'd argue Champions League for a few reasons:

- We've never won it: Would be special for Aguero, Silva, Kompany etc to tick it off their list.
- Gains us access to the Super Cup and the club World Cup (so a potential to win 2 more trophies. We haven't won either previously).


Also, it would be quite funny seeing Liverpool fans faces after we over-shadow their greatest ever season.

Personally, I'm confident we will win atleast 2 more trophies this season. Both League and FA cup are there for the taking. What a great position we'd be in knowing we had The league wrapped up and two finals to look forward too!

If we won the quadruple, they'd insist (along with their mates in the media) that finishing second and bombing out of all the cups with a higher wage bill and comparable money spent was a far greater achievement.
 
I would have to say the league based on who would win it if we didn't. If it was one of the London clubs behind us then I would say CL
