Have to go with Paul Scholes myself... comes across as a true professional, maybe shouldn't of retired from Internationals though - this pissed me off as i'd rather have him in the team than out.
Can't remember him saying and doing shit other than playing football, which hes paid to do.
And Peter Schimeichel, not just because he played for city though, admired him when he played for the rags, world class goalkeeper in his prime and probably my 1st choice in a Premierleague all-time starting 11.

Paul Scholes. He may be a RAG but he is a top pro, keeps himself to himself, goes about his work and never bad mouths any other team of. A lot a manure players can learn a lot from him

Paul Scholes. Met him a holiday once - a real nice guy. Great footballer and someone who doesn't play the big "I am footballer".

Yeah was a decent friendly lad when I met him ( his Mrs was Gorgeous).
I`d say Scholes and Jimmy Nicholl, won a football tournament when I was younger and the winners got to meet the surprise guests, one from City and one from United, the City player didn`t turn up so we got to meet Jimmy Nicholl, he was a pretty nice fella tbh.

John Gidman. I'll never forget when he gestured to a linesman under his shirt what a w**ker he thought he was whilst playing for city. Loved him for that!
