Leaving out Elano

He's had plenty of opportunities. Don't know what's going on, and if there is a problem , you don't wash your dirty linen in public...

Are you talking about the manager here?

I think you need to use spellcheck?

:-)

Gelson and Darius are very decent chaps and admirable professionals. The former could yet come good, even very good, and the latter has already had a career, with caps, that most players would only dream of. However, if you 'team plan' finds a way to involve them both [when Kompany was already holding and Caceido ready to start] whilst finding it impossible to even include Elano on the bench, then I am afraid that the end is nigh.

Elano's a gonner face up to it, he's never playing for us again unless Hughes swallows a huge piece of humble pie.

Or Elano starts to make the boss think he has the makings of a real first team player?

Or do you know something you aren't telling us Josh? ;-)

If we're being honest, and usually when I try to be honest on here I get called "Rag", but Elano hasn't really performed for over a year. He was great until he went off to Brazil LAST OCTOBER, since then he's been getting frustated (Kicking out against players against Sheff Utd for one example) and generally not putting in a shift. In Spain the other night he completed about 1 pass in 10.
The reason that he didn't get "discovered" until Sven signed him is because he's only good in flashes and to be a top team you need plenty of stodgy cake players before you start putting icing on it.

For those who have shouted me down for several weeks, I hope you feel very ashamed. It gives me no pleasure to have been proved correct but Hughes is completely and utterly out of his depth.
Last week we lost to a team WITHOUT ONE FORWARD IN THEIR TEAM
this week a forward scored against us who hasn't SCORED FOR 28 GAMES.
In both games we conceded in the 93rd minute.

Why does anyone think we are suddenly going to put a tremendous run together? Where is the evidence of that happening?

We need Championship winning form to stay out of the bottom 3, or the bottom two, once Blackburn do us.

WAKE UP FOR CHRISTS SAKE
