Neil Young deserves one as much as these, he was just as vital to that eras team, bell, lee summerbee and young
If the club chooses to put a shitload of smaller statues around the ground and campus with plenty of space for newer legends or club icons, along with a story about them on a big plaque then I'd completely agree and say yeah make a statue of Kinkladze and many others,
The documentary is on Youtube. Used to watch this on video when I was a kid regularly
I agree with this. Neil Young is often overlooked, but he scored two goals in the 4-3 win at Newcastle to clinch the league. He scored the only goal in the FA Cup final against Leicester and scored one and was fouled for the penalty in the Cup Winners Cup final. He played a massive part in that period of success.Neil Young deserves one as much as these, he was just as vital to that eras team, bell, lee summerbee and young
I think we need a museum which goes through our history chronologically, including all the highs and lows. My first match was in 1980 and it's annoying to have so many new fans with a sense of entitlement. They need the chance to learn our history. As much as I completely love Kinkladze and know he's the best dribbler of a ball in the Prem era plus even named my account after him, I'm honestly not sure I agree with him getting a statue he had world class talent never fulfilled even if he was magical it was just an era of bad times.. I'm a believer in not forgetting your past but I feel others are more deserving at this current time, like Book Young Oakes Brook Trautmann Doherty Yaya and others ahead of him.

Where does it end though?. Personally I don’t think Kompany and the newer players should have got one (not for a few years anyway) . Only a select few should get statues in my opinion.
bell, lee and sumerbee absolutely deserve them. Trautman is another who’s statue should be outside the ground for everyone to see - the context and time he played for city are more deserving of a statue
What about Skip, arrived 66 left in 97, 31 years service :)Neil Young deserves one as much as these, he was just as vital to that eras team, bell, lee summerbee and young
Yes but the latter part of your sentence said he was more deserving of a statue, was just showing he had one, I agree outside would be good though :)that’s completely out of sight for the majority of people who go to the stadium though. Would be much better outside a stand
