leeds a big club?

i hope they never get back in the premier. they deserve to rot in the lower leagues just because of their shit bag fans.

Leeds are a big club. And they have plenty of loyal, decent fans. We could well be in their exact same position today. Let's not be arrogant.

We should want Leeds back in the top flight.

Leeds will always give a cup final performance against the rags and make them fight tooth and nail for a win.

Compare that to a team like Wigan, run by a member of the Fergie Arse Kisser Brigade, they always bend over like street walkers for the rags.

Leeds messed it all up today though, maybe next season.

some leeds fan was telling me a few weeks ago that the sheikh had bought the wrong club, and that we were very fortunate. i agreed we were fortunate but asked why the wrong club?
he said cos they got a bigger fan base!

you can count the home crowd at elland road on one hand!

premiership would richer for the likes of leeds and forest, get rid of the dross like wigan, blackpool, fulham etc, who cant even sell out or cant hold more than 20,000 fans

I wondered how long it would take...

You obviously don't remember Forest averaging around 11-13,000 in the old Second Division in the seasons before Clough took over. Bolton had consistently bigger gates than them back then. In fact when they were promoted just ahead of us in 1976/77, we averaged 22,000 to their 18,000.

If any one of the clubs you mentioned had won the title followed by two European Cups, i think they'd have seen a significant increase in their gates as well.

Of course they are. It's a bit idiotic to say they're not. I would like to see them in the top flight again. Good club.

someone earlier makes a key point that they are always up for it against the rags............and they are big time.........

compare that to Fergie's old mate Bruce who rolls over for Fergie every time
