same size as us - don't get arrogant, that was us once (and not so long ago either).

We want to win the FA cup and we wanted to win the Europa but we never filled our ground or opened two of our top tiers for those games either. Pot, kettle, black.

we are not a one club town, we had miles more games to play and afford, inc euro away trips.

and of course we are not mouthy fucking wannabees.

As the song goes: we all hate leeds scum.

Play-offs is looking dodgy for them. They still have to play Burnley and if they fail to win they can completely kiss goodbye to the play-offs. I really do hope the cunts stay down, they're as arrogant as United fans but they're in the championship and not european semi-finals. Although if you ask one of them they will tell you that they belong in the champions league.

Leeds are a big club. The biggest in Yorkshire. I suppose their real bonus is that there's not two Clubs in the city so everyone from Leeds just follows them. Newcastle have the same bonus. Otherwise the split Clubs would be no bigger than the ones in Sheffield, Bristol, Nottingham etc.

Personally, they'd mean more to me in the Premiership than Wigan do.

They're all right Leeds.

Had some terrible times going to Elland Road in the old days, they've been twats at Maine Road on many occasions... but isn't that what we were like once as well?

Are they a big club? Of course they are.

It's like saying we weren't a big club when we were out of the Premiership.

premiership would richer for the likes of leeds and forest, get rid of the dross like wigan, blackpool, fulham etc, who cant even sell out or cant hold more than 20,000 fans

Doesn't matter if they can sell out their grounds or not; that is down to the local population. Those teams you mentioned earned their day in the sun by doing the business on the pitch. , You do that, you deserve your place in the top tier. Then it's down to the locals to get off their arses and actually go and support their local side.

They are so big that nobody will admit to being the owners ;-)

Are they in Delaware as well?

I did find it strange in this 'everything in the open' era that Leeds are threatened with not being allowed in the Prem should they get up yet the Rags can produce what could be 'dirty' money from who knows where.

The PL might also withhold monies from the entire Football League if they dont offer clear evidence of who the ultimate owners are.

The problem for Leeds is that we all expect the owner will turn out to be Bates himself and then he is in trouble with tax and other issues.

If we thought that United and H and G at Liverpool were iffy then this will likely entertain us for years to come ;-)

-- Sun Apr 24, 2011 4:06 pm --
