Was that when Fat Sam took his blazer off in injury time ?The better team won, certainly, but we did give you a fright towards the end.
I was certainly frightened watching on TV.Was that when Fat Sam took his blazer off in injury time ?
He'd frighten a Police horse.I was certainly frightened watching on TV.
Horseshoes and hand grenades, mate. ;-)I was mocked, pre-match, for my expected team selection. Now, granted, I had Phillips, Palmer and Gomez in my team but I also had Lewis, Gundo, Foden, Alvarez, Haaland, et al. The next time I pick something ludicrous, you can think again about mocking me: I was blinded by my combover while trying to get a glimpse of the Queen's ass.
Exactly this. There is a reason for how we were playing in the second half. I think many simplify their assessment of performance too far, losing all context and acknowledgement that we would play differently if the circumstances were different.
Also, I don’t understand this assertion:
How exactly would a better team have punish us? We dominated for all but 60 seconds of the match when Leeds had to separate chances, the second of which they scored (which it self was a bit of a fluke goal).
I saw a few saying “can I say ‘one shot, one goal now’ in response to us conceding, despite the fact that it was the second shot, Eddie made a smart save to keep out the first shot, and there was really very little Eddie could have done with their goal.
As I said before, conceding one goal seems to skew reality for many blues out of all proportion. It shifts the performance in to a fantasy realm where we were “shite” or “unprofessional” or a “disgrace”.
I just don’t understand it.
