He looked fine from where I was standing, closing down did nothing wrong in my eyeHow, didn't touch the ball for 10 minutes and wasn't closing down.
When he came on I thought, he may hug the line and give them somthing to worry about, but he didn't.
Hopefully Erl is back Wednesday to keep defences busy and defend for us, I'm sorry but Sav does none of those things.
Anyway, move on and enjoy the win and the improving performances of others (Nico, Rodri, Cherki, Nunes, Nouri).
Pretty sure it would have been brought back for a foulAlan Smith said on commentary that he could hear VAR saying there’s a foul on Guehi so he didn’t think it would have counted.
Off to MadridWhat's up with Haaland?
Wasting your time mate. But that's sort of my point, that even if those two big chances had been taken they'd likely have been ruled out by VAR.
That's what I thought.Maybe I'm wrong but I felt we controlled that 2nd half (bar the last few minutes) They weren't allowed to build anything or have quick breaks, did they even have a shot ?
That is City of old. Nice to see.
A minor injury apparently. What's up with Haaland?
The booing was entirely from leeds fans, mainly those behind the goal nearest us. Leeds fans have a notoriously bigoted fanbase and therein lies the answerThese breaks have happened many times. What’s changed today? Dunno, it being at Elland Road or bigots feeling more emboldened generally maybe.
Could they not wait till half time? With respect to all Muslim players, I don't think fasting on a match day is right. It is inevitable that this affected their performance yesterday.

I enjoyed the fact that some of those comments were from people that I have on ignore, as i could tell from other posters replies to themYou should have seen the match thread.
The reaction from some was disgusting.
Dias was class yesterdayGuehi is outstanding- Diaz not so much so. Much better second half than in recent weeks - BIG BIG result — come on City

Ait Nouri has started to show why we bought him, an excellent performance again along with Cherki and O'Reilly before he was crocked (did their player even touch the ball, it looked like he just stuck his knee into the side of Nico's leg when he was at full stretch?).Ait Nouri put in a shift yesterday and grew into the game. His movement down the left with ball put him in some very good positions to cross which resulted in the goal. A proper marauding attacking full back.
Was there any update on O’Reilly when he came off? Shows how classless the Leeds supporters were when they were chanting ‘you soft bastard’ when he was walking behind the goal in front of their fans.
