Leeds United (A) Post Match Thread

You can fuck off as well you prick, I was referring to the teams performance. Youve probably never even been to the Etihad

Lol never been to Etihad? I don't know what you're trying to prove with such a statement but I've had the pleasure of watching City play live if that helps in anyway. Distance or the inability to go to games doesn't make anyone less of a supporter

Round of applause for you

I've just read his post history. Suspect to say the least. Can see why you were angry.
It was only when he questioned my loyalty to City that he made me mad.

Up until then, I was quite amused by his assertion that Mahrez and Mendy are the worst City players ever.

What Brenda is saying isn’t new info though

It's not. He's just publicly airing what we can all pretty much see, yet Pep either doesn't, or won't change to counter it.

For Leicester, we can pretty much read every defeat we have had for the last two years.

We always struggle against Southampton. Liverpool, Wigan, Norwich, Spurs, Chelsea, they have all decided to let us play the game in their own half.

It is a deliberate ploy to essentially say they are willing to accept slow pressure because of what it eventually affords them in return.

It's why we are the greatest flat track bullies in recent history and teams such as West Ham, Burnley and Watford get mullered out of sight, they don't have the technical quality to beat our own press or retain possession long enough.

I would rather see us deliberately run down the clock in our own half, relying more on our technical retention of the ball to force teams to actually come and press us again, than feel the onus is always on us to go forward and try and pick the lock.

Like I said tactically excellent and Bielsa’s game management was excellent throughout the game. Substitutions made to impact the game, not just for the sake of it.

Pep changed the flow of the game in the final ten minutes by introducing Ake and Fern.

Whether he did it quickly enough is perhaps more relevant.

To be fair we were worked out and buses parked long before Leicester last week.

They were, but teams still pressed us from the front.

What we are now seeing is a consensus not to press Eddie and let the centre backs come up to halfway with the ball before they then engage our full backs or winger.

The play becomes less stretched out and our players are compressed into tighter areas, hence why our passing is allowed to go side to side.

Sane and a prime Fern would still have little impact on what other teams are now offering.

We have a plan A which can be visibly contained, barring a moment of brilliance or them also getting lucky in both refereeing decisions or snatched half chances.

I think Sane would of helped strecth teams more as he ran in behind but your right, we are missing Silva more than anything

comfortable collecting the ball and hold it all day at the edge of the box until something opened up

West Ham have beaten The Foxes 3 nil at home... What's that all about??
We are well adrift of Everton.....
United and pool play crap and get over the line...
Look at us...if we don't get it together sharpish..we 8 points adrift..that is bad..
I think Arteta is a big miss for us because Pep always had somebody to bounce off and he looks abit vacant sometimes..
Worrying times....
