Mmmmm, this may not mean a lot to you lot but....... I'M COMING HOME TODAY. To THE ETIHAD, I'll be at the game. Oh my goodness I'm so excited. I'm sooooo excited. As you can see I'm up very early and I shall be wearing my City go to the match kit in about 15 minutes!!!

I'M COMING HOME.

The folk who usually put an extra cheer in for me, you just cheer twice as loud for the other folk who can't get there yet. As I shall be doing. And three times as loudly for John Boy from me.

I'M COMING HOME. :-)

EDIT:
P.S. Pep please play John Boy, even if only for the first half hour. :-)

Really pleased for you bet it's felt like something has been missing from your life.

Hope you've got all the new chants learned to belt out from the front row.

Tough game I think. BFS will not have had time to implement actual tactical changes, just fire them up a bit. Expecting ' new manager bounce' in terms of them having a proper go for most of the first half. Then the parked bus and kicking fuck out our key players for the rest - aided and abetted by the usual blind ref. Fingers crossed three points and no injuries.
More like parking the bus from the first minute…………

Oooh yes, I hadn't thought about that but it's ok I usually pick them up fairly quickly. Mind you that was more from when I went to the away games. But I'll pick up a chant sheet on the way in....... ;-) I'm sure the City Matters group have arranged something like that??? ;-)

Thank you for the good wishes. :-)

It was my lads first home game in 2023 on Wednesday, his partner had a baby in February, works & lives down south as well & added to work patterns he's been 'banging his head against the walls ' having to miss games. He's managed a couple of aways & the semi but, he was over the Bluemoon to get back home against West Ham.

I go with Pep. Players are not tired. They can cope playing twice a week. They are professional and get the best treatment.

Just play the 11 able to control the game and win it. If the scoreline fancy subs Pep will bring on a few. A few rotations might be expected, but I’m pretty sure Rodri will start and not Philips.

Don’t underestimate Leeds and Allerdyce. And It’ll be a certain 3 points.
I fully agree that they should easily handle two games a week physically if they avoid knocks. I think the mental fatigue brought on by continuous pressure from must win games is what gets them in the end.
