Who should we sign at left back?

Zinchenko and Mendy should/are done. Time to get two fullbacks that can push Cancelo and Walker.
 
Hopefully sign someone i’ve only barely heard of, about 22-24yo that becomes world class, probably from Portugal/Spain.

a la Rodri, Silva (either), De Bruyne, Cancelo, Sane, Aguero, Diaz, Laporte, Ederson
 
What we need is another option at left-back, but not necessarily someone who is going to play every league game. We need someone who is tall enough to deal with the aerial threat and physically up to the challenge of playing against certain sides, but at the same time is comfortable enough on the ball to play the inverted role or do some attacking in the final third. Ake can handle the defensive duties but just isn’t comfortable enough on the ball in attack. Further, as we’ve seen this season, we can’t always rely on our centrebacks fit, so we definitely need someone.

the whole defense is problematic, from the keeper to the center backs. Not a coincidence that the only time it plays as a solid unit we got to the champions league final. Injuries are a big part of it being worse this season for sure, but there isnt an easy fix besides like buying defenders mainly for their defensive ability
