Who should we sign at left back?

Sign him up simply because he would be able to keep pace with Salah & would be our mirror image to Kyle as a LB.

As cover why not. Both Brighton and Newcastle will probably have spotted a potential sale. So in our case why not cut out the middle man and develop him here. The only downside is JWE, but Pedrosa is 24 and more experienced so it is not a major issue than I first thought it would be.

Anyone fancy Adrien Truffert from Rennes - only 20 , very good underlying statistics - in the French U21 team , a few other premier league clubs were looking at him. Apparently could be a breakthrough star.

Fits our style well with his progressive carries and passing statistics.

I don't think we will sign anyone else, even if bernado ended up leaving I don't think any more will be incoming. Last season shown that we don't just jump the gun, I think we got away with it last season, don't think we will this season.

Clearly you mis read what I wrote "Walker and Cancelo are comfortable playing RB and LB respectively." I.E walker is a comfortable right back and Cancelo is a comfortable left back. The mental gymnastics you had to pull to mis read that must have been good viewing though

I'd say the poll is largely useless at this point considering it was likely made several months ago. Cucurella was never even an option in it lol. It's a good example of player pretty much no one knew about last season, but became a worldy over the summer.
 
Must admit it is frustrating we're yet to bring in an orthodox left back. We're threadbare in the position, certainly. Hope we don't regret it.
