Hes been for sale for months. Nobody is interested and for good reason.
maybe not many other teams need or can pay £40m for a full back? He looked good against us to be fair?

Someone who can fight or take that first team spot from him. Needs to be good enough to push for it.I am not clear about what LB position we are aiming to fill. Are we talking first choice or back up to Cancelo?
Surely this will determine our spend?
I hope Cancelo is not our first choice but if he is we need a reliable utility make-weight.

So many games to play, as I see it we need 3 great players for 2 positions + 1 good backupI am not clear about what LB position we are aiming to fill. Are we talking first choice or back up to Cancelo?

On his way to Barca - apparentlyThere is this bald bloke playing LB for for RB Leipzig....
Don’t want to deal with another english club.Ait nouri has been really good in all of the pre season games for wolves.
There will be someone, and he will be good enough for us.Gaya for me
Yeah, but not too many good allrounders out there, most of the players we’ve been linked to have some major flaws in their game. Sosa, Grimaldo and Sergio Gomez (who Tolmie said we were interested in a while ago) are all very poor defensively. Ait-Nouri isn’t very good either. Gaya is good both defensively and offensively, 1 year left, experienced and very consistent. By far the best option for me, unless someone like Davies or Theo became availableThere will be someone, and he will be good enough for us.
Gaya is a decent player but painfully slow. He makes Zin look like Franz Carr*Yeah, but not too many good allrounders out there, most of the players we’ve been linked to have some major flaws in their game. Yeah in 2 friendly matches. He would have been destroyed playing against Liverpool. Great potential but not at PL level yet.Wilson looked good in the America tour.
