You are indeed correct. Not sure how he could have been overlooked. We've forgotten Kev 'my left foot' Horlock. Quality player and started the come back at Wembley in 99.

The 6-2 win at Sheff Wednesday he was immense. I think that game was the catalyst for promotion.
It was 1-1, 1-2 or 2-2 and he was down injured close to the goal line at our end, they were attacking (he was still getting dogs abuse), he got partly up and flung himself at the ball, stopped the attack and was then stretchered off. Not a big thing in the scale of that season but at the time it was the stuff of legends.
The abuse for Edghill at the Coventry home match, when he was subbed at half time, was undoubtedly the most vitriolic and embarrassing I ever witnessed at Maine Road (and there were a few contenders)
I witnessed that abuse and at the time I was ashamed to be a Blue, still can't forget it. Unfortunately I also seen the abuse to Ian Boywer and Paul Power, sad times.
Remember the abuse Power got and couldn't believe the shit he got has he gave his all
Chuffed for him winning the league with Everton even though I hated them with a passion.
Some interesting responses, but for me he was one of the worst players in a team that was one of the worst we've ever had. If that constitutes legendary status then 'legend' is an easily achieved status. He is a local lad and a top blue, and as I stated in my original post I have nothing against him. Still, if a lot of you think he's a legend then it's right he's employed in the lounge.
Yep, Brightwell was there too. They actually walked around together.Brightwell works there sometimes too. He was hardly Pele. However I liked him along with White.
Legends mean different things to different people.
Goater is a legend for me and Dickov yet others would say not.
Kolorov will be to some for what he has won but to me he will always be a wanker.
You get the feeling that none of the current crop will be putting on their corporate suits in 10 years time to earn a couple of hundred quid on match day.
Maybe their arms will be twisted then.

Not attempting to belittle anybody. Some of our more mature supporters idea of a legend is quite different from our current crop of superstars , Mark Lillis was a legend to me , local lad and a blue , think he only played one season and we had to sell him because we were financially f*cked , can't see yaya , merlin or kun helping out in legends bar in the future ,so lets have a few local lads earning a few bob and stop belittling them.
