Leicester (a) Carabao Cup QF post match thread

Bravo v Pep
Perhaps Bravo should have tried not being shit for the entirety of last season before handing the stares out.
2nd choice is where he will remain unless Eddie gets injured. Pep sure to get rid ASAP.

I think all the youngsters did well. Foden showed plenty of endeavour but doesn’t quite have the timing or stregnth yet. This will come in time. I think Diaz is slightly ahead of him in terms of readiness for the step up. Tosin was very composed and Zinchenko was excellent especially having to handle the threat that Mahrez provided. The two lads who came on linked up really well with the team and great composure in the shootout.

Overall I think we lost a lot of fluency which is to be expected from all the changes that were made. It was nice to watch a game without the nerves as I personally don’t think it would have been the end of the world had we lost. I just wanted some players to get game time. Satisfying to see us win though and to see the celebrations at the end. Looking forward to having a big semi now.

city win always gives me a semi

Think the minutes added was about right penalty well if your a poor referee you’d fall for the crowd baying for a penalty if he was truly bent he could of give them another penalty later when vardy through himself down he is just a really poor referee.

Thank you for saving the day bravo but one summer does not make a swallow or is it one swallow doesn't make a summer i'm not entirely sure but you know what I mean.Eddie is world class and in a different league but neverthless well done lad.

Zinchenko is going to be strong for us and I see great things in him.The potential is there for all to see and his work rate was beyond question.
Agree with a previous poster that diaz is ahead of foden for the step up.Last twenty looked like Leicester may snatch it but resilience and a sense of stoicism shewn through.Special mention in dispatches to gundawan and silva who's movement on the ball were immense.

Peps interaction with the crowd at the end was incredible and his conducting skills unquestionable.
Special thanks to Now TV @£6.99 without which all the this would never have been possible. No HD though ? I shall write to them.

I was at Macrae's debut over 40 years ago.
But I reckon we've had a few worse than him in that time; Martin Margetson, Simon Tracey and one or two others during the 1990s.

Tracey still gives me nightmares...fucking rag bastard didn't even try against the scum ...pity we can't expunge his time at our club from the record books.
