Leicester (A) Post Match Thread

Great result, as previous posters have said we made Leicester look poor . Controlled the game from start to finish. I've seen players sent off for less but the ref was probably feeling sorry for the Leicester defender. Having it referred to VAR should have seen the yellow uplifted to a red. Game was already over and done with so i guess they didn't want another talking point. Thought Kevin didn't have to go down clutching his face though, bit of an embarrassing delayed reaction. If he have made less of it the guy might have walked. Some scouse twat will make a GIF out of it no doubt.

We looked a better side when Sergio went off. It was good he got 60 mins as he could be important for us in the run in from the bench, but on the evidence of yesterday it is time he moved on. I know its not what we want to hear, I don't want to hear it myself. Jesus had a very good game as well, maybe the news that Sergio is to move on has given him a boost and now he knows he can stake a claim to be the man, if indeed we play a 9 at all. Jesus didn't operate as a 9 but his work rate and link up play were exemplary.

I thought we played pretty well without ever being very good, although after an international break you take that. Ferna was magnificent, so was Kev, that pass was just fucking unreal. We also managed to "rest" some key players ahead of Dortmund if indeed "rest" is the word rather than "rotate" according to the opposition and to implement our tactical plan. Pep certainly learnt from the game early in the season and playing both Ferna and Rodri halted their counter, stopped them having any real substantial possession and any threat was sporadic. I have rarely seen Vardy so quiet in a game.

I noticed the commentators had to get a dig in about Stones being "dropped" because of his error for England, what fucking nonsense of course, we had Aymeric at home who hadn't played any football and was the obvious starter for me

Another hurdle taken and we are almost there. Thing is we deserve to be there, we are streets ahead of any other team at the moment and barring a bout of Cityitis we could well win the lot.

MOM ----THAT PASS FROM KEV. It was a moment of real beauty, artistry beyond nearly every footballer I have ever seen. As Redknapp said “De Bruyne is so far ahead of everyone else i bet he has already given out his Easter eggs”

Haha!
The patronising ruffle of his hair tickled me.
He left a bit on maddison and rightly so as he's a cheating little shit, made me laugh how maddison jumped straight up after a proper tackle yet he always writhes around at the slightest touch.
Dinho was immense last night, rolled back the years with that performance.

Media and opposition fans may write and say what they want, but the truth is we are playing to win everything with a striker who cost us fewer than 30 m (and missed 2 months of the campaign) and another striker who has been barely available all season. Plus the best player in the league missing a whole month due to an injury. Let that sink in. It's incredible.

No matter what they say now, they are on record writing us off back in November and December. Delaney was predicting Liverpool and United to compete for the title. Now they talk as if we have the best players in the world in every position, and as if it is only natural that we are winning.
