Lack of finishing could of cost us again yesterday which concerns me about the upcoming Chelsea, liverpool games
I’ve noticed we need to get the ball quicker to jack that’s where Kev comes in can’t waitGreat win, solid and professional.
I still think the lack of a striker will come back to haunt us, but that apart we look top quality.
Grealish looking good but to me could do far more, seems to be blowing a bit too much for me, fitness?
Bernardo is a wonderful player and the best thing all summer was him staying.
I agree with you mate but we win 1-0 last year at their placePoor game ? Don’t get that pal -We took 3 points at a really hard place, game we lost last year. Great game in my opinion we cant play fifa football all the time as we have to work hard on these tough 3 pointers to solid teams in their own backyard. Thought we dominated personally and thought Grealish was more than handy - but hey it’s all about opinions after all :-)
totally agree with the Kane comment.
Fingers crossed they will both be fit and firing by the end of the month.Easy to forget we are missing Kev and Phil, wait until those 2 are in the side and up to speed.
Problem is who gets left out? Gundog? Or Bernie when KDB arrives back. Also where does Phil fit in ? I know 60 games, loss of form, injuries and all that but when everyone is fit do we have too many options?I’ve noticed we need to get the ball quicker to jack that’s where Kev comes in can’t wait

Yesterday was a solid performance and an excellent result.I thought we lost a bit of shape and direction when Sterling came on but held on well for a deserved win. What is probably the biggest September in a long time is off to a good start.
Quite right mate, I stand corrected, I should have googled the score before I opened my gob, memory is fucked :-)
How much would a club have to pay for a player that’s been “dreadful” for the last two years? The fact pep plays phil out of position before sterling says everything, sterling has been dreadful for two years for us now, he’s a squad player now,& its only the fact nobody can afford him that he’s still here
Not at all just my opinionAre you on a wind up?
Compared to his first two years the last two haven't reached the same standard but he's far from dreadful. He frightens defenders which is why there is invariably a back up defender waiting for him after he's beaten the first. I noticed in one of the internationals they opposition had three waiting for him, and he managed to skip round all of them. He's one of those who can make things happen, unfortunately not as often as he first did.The fact pep plays phil out of position before sterling says everything, sterling has been dreadful for two years for us now, he’s a squad player now,& its only the fact nobody can afford him that he’s still here
ha ha, I only knew because the commentator mentioned it yesterday! I used to know virtually every City score and recall goals, incidents, etc. Same as you the old memory isn't what it used to be, did we win? :-)Quite right mate, I stand corrected, I should have googled the score before I opened my gob, memory is fucked :-)
Really? Had it in my head we lost by 4 maybe season before.. anyway I’m off the wine from now on,, buzzing with this result
Defend, dive, defend, dive, dive dive.......
Glad we got the 3 points with their antics and those of the ref.....11 fouls? Please you gimp.
Anyway, champions doing what champions do, winning despite the opposition and refereeing.
Bernie untouchable today, but we need to take more of our chances, 28 shots ....
