Leicester City (A) | Post Match Thread

What are the words to the Foden song? Plenty singing it near end of game but not near me and I couldn't make it out properly.

Some lad told me the words but I can't remember them now it was that good

Safe to say Lennon and McCartney have nothing to fear...

Was right next to the coke heads singing it and they could barely string two words together let alone a ditty. There seemed to be a line (of the song) about Phil being the best one on one but other than that it just sounded like a dirge

The win was a great result. There are a few creativity issues, I'll grant you, but the control and game management is still there. It was great to come away with the 3 points.

To be a Leicester fan..... Imagine watching that negative tripe, as in you don't even leave your half and relinquish possession almost willingly, and then when you do decide to attack 15 mins from the end it turns out you might have had a decent shout at a goal if your team had bothered to try it at other points in the game. Would have me raging! Fuck em. Good win.

It was a hard won 3 points that and I don't think Leicester as bad as their position suggests.

It was a pretty boring game I thought overall, but I'm getting fed up of seeing Stones at right back. He is not, and never will be, a right back. He just isn't. I genuinely don't understand why we cannot play the youth right back and have Cancelo-Laporte(prefer Dias)-Stones-youth player. Stones is one of the best central defenders in the world and can cover, but it's also about having round pegs in round holes. I just wish we'd pick a consistent defence. Ok, there wasn't too much wrong with it, but against better sides we can't flick players out of position as they get caught out.

I'm hoping we'll start to see something from Grealish and Mahrez as well soon. I'm not sure whether it's tactics or what, but neither of these players look up for it when they play. Both of these players should be in the best years of their careers but to be honest if they both left I don't think we'd be weakened, that's how little they contribute. I think Grealish has to move into the centre really, but I'm kind of giving up on Mahrez.

Overall though, we're well clear of Liverpool and Chelsea so can't ask for me than that Also, with Arsenal, Spurs, United and Newcastle all on decent runs it's going to be a long hard season for the scousers. I am starting to think that Klopp will be gone next year and they will be finished!
