Leicester City (H) Post Match Thread

Bayern Munich just got spanked by the might Hoffenheim 4-1. If you were a BM fan, would you be saying the same thing on their forum?
Difference is that’s a one off, and they WILL learn their lessons from it rather than develop their failings. God n
Knows what new lessons we’ve learnt today

We lost 9 games last season and got knocked out by a poor Lyon side in the QF. It’s not just today.

Teams have us figured out and we have looked clueless in some games recently, particularly today. You can’t seriously compare this to Bayern losing a game after putting 8 past Schalke and winning then Champions League. You can bury your head in the sand and think that we will go on a 20 game winning streak now but the reality is that we don’t look good at the moment

The European champions coming off about 8 leagues in a row and an 8-0 win last week?? Yeah, cos that's the same as where we are at the minute...

Awful performance but predictable. Teams with young fast players will do the hard yards. I don’t like how we go a goal dwn and capitulate. We start crossing and crossing, the passing goes to shit.

A terrible day yes, were we shit yes, do we need to re-assess the defence - yes, but the response on here is nothing short of shocking from some. Grow some nads and get behind the team FFS
Totally agree - albeit big gaps always between our defenders when we're being attacked. We can tighten the defence with a signing or two.

Yes it's only 2 games in, but that was poor, very poor. Some players looked like they were playing their way out of the club.

Mendy hasn't had a decent game now since god knows when.

Rodri is so slow. The premier league is all about pace and he is constantly chasing shadows.

An aging Fernandinho doesn't help the matter either.

Garcia doesn't want to be here so isn't arsed.

This season could be a real bad blot on Peps copy book.

Garcia is a disgrace ... turning his back on the ball

Every weakness, every fragility, that even the mighty Ole figured out 3 times are still on full view, still there despite millions spent on average players. Its like watching the 5th version of the same Horror film where a gang of college kids go off into the woods again with the same result. Time for Pep to say adios I'm afraid and take the Spanish duo with him. God knows who we'd end up with because we don't do succession planning we do manyana... The Carabou Cup looks a bit ambitious now.

He sold Sané the only creative player in terms of pace and dribblings. And went with Mahrez who only has dribbling but no pace and is greedy.
Didn't have any choice with Sane, he wanted to go. What were we supposed to do; hold on to an unhappy player for a year, then lose him for nothing next summer?

What does Pep do here, does he come out and throw his players under the bus or does he shoulder the blame.

We are a shadow of the team he inherited, he has added nothing of quality to the squad and then since 2019 mismanaged it.

What? The team that scraped Into fourth with Sagna, DeMichelis and Clichy in defence?

Pep is not responsible for buying players and neither was Mancini before him contrary to what some seem to believe on here.
