Leicester City to spend millions

None of us actually believe it possible. He wants stability for the first three years. Nothing wrong with that.

I feel he's undermined Sir Nige as regardless of what you read we haven't spent big at all this season just gone. I don't like the idea of agents knowing any potential budget and I'd fear for Pearsons job in the future should they really have these daft aims.

However, what is our owner supposed to say? 'In the next 7 years I want us to reach 40 points a season and scrape survival each time'?

Leicester fans enjoy the moment because if your owner does do that you will

a) Have a sugar daddy
b) The money you are spending is not your own
c) You will probably be ruining Englands future especially if you sign foreign players
d) You will not be liked by UEFA and Greg Dyke.

Good luck to you :-)

Dyke is a Leicester fan ;)

Thanks for all the good luck messages!

We're rumoured to have a wage cap of £30,000 a week so that rules Lescott, Rodwell and Richards out haha.

I want our lads that got us up to have a chance next season. I honestly believe if we play how we did for the majority of this season we'd compete with the bottom 10

will work out fine if they buy actual good players and only a few of them. We know what happens when you buy a starting 11 right off the bat with not-so-very-good players *cough*QPR*cough*

hopefully they'll be the new 7th in the league replacing the rags.

Would be so nice that someone else would be accused of over spending for a change, for buying success, for ruining football and for having a owner who is more interested in clubs development instead of getting rich

Expecting a huge number of new players to adapt to the Leicester system and gel immediately is deeply naive. You need to be patient and build on a pragmatic basis to have any chance of surviving, consolidating and pushing forwards. Pellegrini didn't make huge changes at City yet he took us forwards.

Plus he had a fair bit more money than I expect the Leicester owners have. Anyway you should know better, football doesn't do pragmatic.
It does win or be sacked.

Best of luck to them. Hopefully they can challenge the old order and top 4. Of course this means a great number of snide and bitter remarks from arse and dipper fans directed at them for taking what is rightfully their spot at the top end of the table.
