Leicester City v City post match.

Apologies mate and I mean it- Txiki will ruin any chance of Pep making it - and it's been said on here since he arrived - he's a well paid chancer and has ruined this clubs defence.

Apologies mate , really .
No worries I get you're pissed I was fucking livid after the game but I calm down a lot quicker these days, Im not so sure he will ruin peps chances though, I suspect pep has a say in the transfers, which is why we didnt see a panic buy when leporte dropped us. I think pep probably said we are just going to have to go with what we have got and unfortunately vinny got fucking injured Again Im thinking he was banking on vinny having more game time and thought he might be able to get through the season. The real acid test for pep will be next season, and im sure kaldoon knows it, I think the only reason Txiki is here was to get pep through them doors. Its just a shit show we couldnt unload the players with a year left, Im sure we would have just fucked them off if it wasn't for FFP.

Over the last few years we have dominated possession (let's say 65% plus) in a lot of games and we have probably won 90% of those matches, as we should be doing. Occasionally we might concede to a sucker punch and lose 1-0 (Sunderland spring to mind) but generally I would say possession football 'is winning football'. Today the possession meant fuck all as we looked unbalanced, with too many dogshit performances up front and at the back. As I said, has a team EVER scored four with such little time on the ball? Pep should be watching videos of that match all day tomorrow.
Can't answer that question as I don't have the stats but I would suggest that it happens quite often these days. I have believed for some time now that possession for possessions sake is not enough. Many teams now concentrate on getting everyone behind the ball when they lose it and on getting players forward fast when they attack. Of course the more you have the ball the less time you opponent has to score but lately City are doing very little going forward other than miss chances and seem incapable of keeping the most basic of attacks at bay. At present we would probably need 85-90% of the ball to win a game.

Did I say he was revolutionary ? no I dont think I did, I said the defense is gash, Is that peps fault? I dont think so, he didnt buy sagna, kola, zabba, mango, clichy, vinny (who isnt shit just constantly injured) nico, fernando, navas.. I said the recruitment has been gash, I also said we missed out on leporte and thank fuck we didnt panic and buy more shite, which cold well have been on peps say so.. we added players up top while they were availible, yes we needed fullbacks, but are you forgetting we can only register so many fucking players and the players on their last year we couldnt get rid of, who happen to be most of the shit ive just listed.. so we couldnt fucking buy the defensive cover we needed, could we.. yes he has got it wrong today, but looking at suspensions/ injuries who the fuck could we play at the back and in defensive midfield today.. I know navas is shit to but he offers more going back than sterling which is probably why he played him as the defense as we know is fucking dire.. As for stones he dropped a bollock today, but i for one wont hang a 22 year old out to dry until he actually has a decent partner next to him.. but you crack on mate Ill look at the harsh reality we cant change the entire lot in one window, these problems were here long before pep rocked up.. you just seem pissed at pep because his mate is shit at recruiting. that doesnt seem to fair to me to be honest.. Oh btw Im not saying pep is the answer but ill wait more than 1/3 of a season before I say he's crap. especially as I knew half the players he was going to have to use were past it.

You mention a lot of deadwood in the first sentence but just saying like that Big Sam was the manager do you think he would be able to get this lot to defend?

It's amazing that every time we lose or draw a game, it becomes a minor blip or the referee had a hand. If we play like this, we will have a lot more minor blips and blaming referees while others simply pulling away. Forget Chelsea, Arsenal or Pool, I am worried more about Spurs and the Rags.

Big sam might be able to at the expense of playing any type of football Id want to watch.. he would turn them attacking players into plodders in a few months.. ruining any type of possession based attacking football.. Another way of looking at it, do you think Big Sam would ever be able to set a team up to play Barca off the park like we did at home and we nearly did away if it wasnt for the dinho slip and bravo brain fart, I really dont think we as far away as results suggest.

that performance was awful, no ifs or buts.

but why?

Is pep the new Allison that dopey players dont understand?
Is it a series of shit transfer windows.
Are we still relying on Yaya to win anything, without him we are never do as wierd as that sounds.

It looks like we have only 1 or 2 players worthy of top status, the rest are to old or to average.

I am depressed.

Bad management today.
Pellegrini would have been crucified for a performance like this.
I am disgusted with this.
Not seen the game today, Xmas booze up but your comments even prior to today sum up the season (just like last season) after the first few games.

We've gone from a unit under an Italian we shouldn't name to a bag if shit with no real sign if improvement.

Pep isn't the knight on a white horse charging in we invested 4/5 tears in.

Proper pissed off with it all.
