Leicester City v City post match.

Unfortunately there is plenty of doubt. We might win but I wouldn't have the confidence to put a penny on us doing so against any team in the Prem just at the moment.

If we don't give 100 per cent and have more brain fades like we have all too often already this year we will be 10 points behind Chelsea come our game against Arsenal who in all likelihood will be 7 points clear of us one point clear of Liverpool.

This team more so than any other to date convinces me we might have to do a Chelsea of sorts.

Its necessary sometimes and despite Arsenal being the most consistent over the longest period of time they have a knack of not winning titles for some time.

Awful today that first 20minuites was a shambles we look like we goin concede everytime a team attacks us carnt belive the diffrence from the start of the season!!

Or it might just point to an emerging footballing FACT i.e. possession football is no longer winning football. Pep's recent lack of success in Europe with Munich and the growing shambles at City might just point to that. Oh and if the manager thinks that tackling is not important that won't help much.

No disrespect, but the way we allow opposition defenses have time for a quick cup of tea and a full english breakfast before we get near the penalty area, makes all our possession a bit pointless in the end.

Fuck it lets spend another £300m , our squad is shit , Nowhere near as good as Chelsea, Middlesbrough, Everton , Celtic , Southampton s squads - we are just unlucky robbed by injustice and penalties.

Our manager is relying on shit bought by his best mate -or the fucking shit bought by marwood and cook, it's not his fault he's a revolutionary-in his fucking dreams .

Complete dogshit , fucking wake up with your gung ho fuck it tactics - you **** .
Did I say he was revolutionary ? no I dont think I did, I said the defense is gash, Is that peps fault? I dont think so, he didnt buy sagna, kola, zabba, mango, clichy, vinny (who isnt shit just constantly injured) nico, fernando, navas.. I said the recruitment has been gash, I also said we missed out on leporte and thank fuck we didnt panic and buy more shite, which cold well have been on peps say so.. we added players up top while they were availible, yes we needed fullbacks, but are you forgetting we can only register so many fucking players and the players on their last year we couldnt get rid of, who happen to be most of the shit ive just listed.. so we couldnt fucking buy the defensive cover we needed, could we.. yes he has got it wrong today, but looking at suspensions/ injuries who the fuck could we play at the back and in defensive midfield today.. I know navas is shit to but he offers more going back than sterling which is probably why he played him as the defense as we know is fucking dire.. As for stones he dropped a bollock today, but i for one wont hang a 22 year old out to dry until he actually has a decent partner next to him.. but you crack on mate Ill look at the harsh reality we cant change the entire lot in one window, these problems were here long before pep rocked up.. you just seem pissed at pep because his mate is shit at recruiting. that doesnt seem to fair to me to be honest.. Oh btw Im not saying pep is the answer but ill wait more than 1/3 of a season before I say he's crap. especially as I knew half the players he was going to have to use were past it.

I largely agree, but as I've said in Silva's performance thread, he runs games for Spain, and has been made captain recently, now that's in a pretty decent side, but here as you say, when its not going well, he is peripheral.

The problems today were started by the wrong team selection, compounded by players either not good enough, or not doing their job, and further compounded by players like DS and KdB giving the ball away too cheaply, with our defensive players out of position.

People keep saying its not the system, so what the f**k is it ? Because it seriously out of kilter at the moment, and has been for some time in the PL.

I would go one stage further

You can have all the skilful players in the world, but you still need the unheralded Javi Garcia type who, on the surface, don’t seem to contribute much, but somehow give the team balance.
