Leicester City v City post match.

Christ, if you're worried about a post match press conference, I suggest you get out more. We've got the best manager on the planet and you're moaning because he is fiddling with his sleeves

He's very nervous and his body language is that of a five year old. Maybe thats deliberate on his part.

Who knows he was shit today with his team selection and tactics and he needs to wake up and smell the coffee sooner rather than later.

Which clown plays a high defensive line with the slowest defenders in the league, against some of the fastest attackers in the league. Only Pep!!

I'm so fed up and angry at this moment in time it's untrue.

Time for bed!!

The personnel is also the same as those that were a waste of space for the majority of last season, maybe the improvement they showed was simply a case of new manager syndrome? Now that's done with they are actually playing at their usual level.

Vacillation seems to be the name of the game. Same personnel that outplayed Barca, same personnel that took us to the top of the league. They can't be shite if they can deliver in some circumstances and not others. it's the same old same old that we never know which City team is gonna turn up.

You can spin the story countless ways, but the fact remains, we have a very expensively assembled squad, with a lot of talented individuals, but we lack a genuine team spirit with a major work ethic.
We don't get caught out by sheer brilliance of teams like Barca, we get undone by our own inability to finish, silly mistakes, or general complacency. We've had glimpses of varied play, but on the whole we're predictable. We pass it around a lot and try to walk the ball into the net - we also tend to take a good while to get going.

People can say it's going to take time and that Pep's one of the best in the world etc etc, but the football we're seeing is bettered by 3 other teams in this league and likely 4 by tomorrow. Two of those teams have pretty recent managers as well.

If we want to be champions, we need to improve now.
If we want to finish in the top 4, we need to improve pretty soon.

It's not knee jerk reaction, it's not wild panic, we simply aren't performing as well as we should be given the players at our disposal, and it's Pep's job to get the best out of them. Currently, he's not doing that. Yes, some players aren't world beaters, but that's true of plenty of our rivals too.

Maybe I am a two bit supporter who doesn't know his arse from his elbow, but when you're 3-0 down and you're taking off your only striker, I'm struggling to make sense of it. It's only 'genius' if it pays off, and right now, these decisions are not paying off.

Can young defenders like Tosin, Maffeo and Angelino be that much worse than the veterans we've been seeing so far?
Honestly speaking we've seen countless inexcusable mistakes time after time.

But the striker wasn't doing anything because of the service (lack thereof) and Nolito can act as a striker so it was a decent change (in my mind)

The youngsters are not deemed good enough for regular first team duties which does seem worrying when you look at the recent form of Clichy and Kolarov.

Must admit, since the final whistle yesterday, I've found myself looking back fondly on a time we were managed by a certain suave, scarf wearing Italian.

It's not him I miss per se, but the defensive stability, the foundation our success at that point in time was built on and we simply haven't had it since he left, Swiss cheeses have less holes.

Thinking about that 4th goal pisses me off time and time again because Stones has had it drummed into him to do stupid shit like that. Row Z was the best option every single day of the week, but fuck around with it at the back, that's the remit. Lunacy.

Sort that fucking defence out Pep, should be top of the to do list by a country mile. Everything else will follow.

I don't want to say anything about the match. Had to fight with my wife to stay awake at night (11 PM kick-off time in India). Finally she said 'bad night' and went to bed. Never thought it would go this bad.
