Leicester City v City post match.

He's very nervous and his body language is that of a five year old. Maybe thats deliberate on his part.

Who knows he was shit today with his team selection and tactics and he needs to wake up and smell the coffee sooner rather than later.

Which clown plays a high defensive line with the slowest defenders in the league, against some of the fastest attackers in the league. Only Pep!!

I'm so fed up and angry at this moment in time it's untrue.

Time for bed!!
This. Nothing more to say except that post-match press conference worries me.

We all knew what we were getting when Pep signed up.

And no one should have expected us to run away with the league.

The season has become disappointing because of some stand out poor performances especially in this last week and because it's a massive change in form compared to our first 10 games.

I've said it a few times before, if at the beginning of the season we'd be where we are in the table now, at this point, I'd have said that would have been about par.

In many of the games where we've not taken 3pts it's been because of poor finishing. Yesterday and the Celtic games have been the exception. Even at Spurs Dav had a chance within 2mins to put us ahead which would have put an entirely different complexion on that game.

The mistakes will drop off as we go through the season but I expect things to get worse before they get better, especially with our daft suspensions.

If things aren't consistently better by Feb/Mar then we can all start to panic :)

In less than half a season, his reputation is now becoming one of arrogance, how he doesn't realise it's the system the players are set up to play, this is the biggest part of the problem.
We look such a soft touch, dreading playing arsenal Liverpool even Watford ha! Heanacho shouldn't of lead the line against the 2 most physical defenders in the league, nolito and sterling should of both started,no game for another 8 days, play the best available team,
The rest of the season will determine how good pep is as a coach and manager, however at this moment he's taking the team backwards.

Pep said he would learn a lot after our first defeat well I think he has his answer, best do something pretty damn quick or we will be out the running come the 1st Jan.

Txiki has given Pep three years to shape City into a world beating team. He inherited a good team that was over the hill. His remit is to buy the best young talent available and mould them into a top Euro team.

He clearly doesn't understand the Prem, because westruggle against teams we should be putting away. That said, the finishing has been absolutely shocking at times. Even the Chelsea game. KDB shot goes under the bar and game over, but it doesn't. Even today, get the two penalties and the game is a completely different game. Pep is not getting the rub of the green, but then neither is proven Prem destroyer, Mourinho. Sucks to be a manager, eh?!

So, what to do? First things first...batten down the hatches! He needs to ease off on the playing out of the back, stick with Ota and Stones at the back (unless one is suspended or injured), with Sagna and Kolarov at FBs...but without the requirement to bomb forward!

Four man midfield, with KDB on left, Sterling on right. Middle two pick themselves, but not for two more games, unfortunately, so Gundogan and Yaya (to steady the ship and keep the ball moving), with Silva in the hole (switching with KDB) and whichever "forward" is available!!!

Lots more to discuss, including HOW we play, but if I start down that route, people will start throwing video game references, so why bother?!

Good luck to us all!

Pep isn't arrogant
Don't play kel because up against 2 physical players so you suggest 2 smaller players
No game for 8 day except Watford on Wednesday ???

Clichy - Ota - Stones - Sagna
Gunda
Sterling - Kdb - Silva - Sane
Nolito

For Watford please.

Must admit, since the final whistle yesterday, I've found myself looking back fondly on a time we were managed by a certain suave, scarf wearing Italian.

It's not him I miss per se, but the defensive stability, the foundation our success at that point in time was built on and we simply haven't had it since he left, Swiss cheeses have less holes.

Thinking about that 4th goal pisses me off time and time again because Stones has had it drummed into him to do stupid shit like that. Row Z was the best option every single day of the week, but fuck around with it at the back, that's the remit. Lunacy.

Sort that fucking defence out Pep, should be top of the to do list by a country mile. Everything else will follow.
Stones did exactly the same thing against Costa last week and got robbed of the ball in his own penalty area, I genuinely think the lad is scared to death of putting the ball in row Z, I watched Pep on Wednesday against Celtic and you can see him gesticulating wildly when someone does something against his wishes, the players are constantly looking at him for approval, I'm all for the manager ruling the roost but Jesus trust them when they get on the pitch. I don't see where we go from here unless he brings in the kids, that back 4 is basically it until sicknkte gets fit, if he ever does, obviously no one knew kompany would be out for so long but we really should have just gone ball so deep for Laporte as well as stones.

Against Watford I'd just be shutting up shop. I'd spend the next 3 days working with whoever is going to start, and building a foundation with them on not conceding a goal.

It sounds idiotic but we are leaking more than the fucking titanic and the priority now has to be stopping that.

If we continue to ship goals like this we will not be anywhere near the top 4, let alone a title.

This same group of players just about scraped 4th last year, and this total football theory since Mancini left has turned us into a flimsy, flaky, fucking soft team.

This league requires a defensive foundation first and foremost. The only other team who play anything like we do are Arsenal. They too are soft and haven't won a title for fucking years.

Back to basics, but it won't happen I'm afraid.

it pretty much begins and ends with the back 3 and the personnel within it,
and this nonsense of zabba being some sort of midfielder has to stop right now!! at some points on wednesday he was the furthest forward of our players, crazy
there was graphic of our players positions yesterday where stones was left wing, zabba, was left back kolorov was centre half. all over the shop
