Leicester City v City post match.

Some of you really don't understand how the game works. If Pep was to openly criticise the players in public - what type of reaction would that get? Media will be on top of it. I think he played it smartly to deflect criticism. Keep calm and let the media ask the questions n hopefully it will be water under bridge.

He knows he has sh*t players at his disposal. Clichy, Zabba and Kolarov to mention. Bravo is not the long term but i don't think he was at fault for all goals. Give the manager time. Let him get his players in .... 5 months and already fans calling for his head - joke!

When I saw Sterling/Nolito on the bench and Silva/Navas starting I knew we will struggle with scoring. Silva and Navas offers nearly zero goal threat recently, they hardly make a shot anymore. Even if they find space to shoot, they just try to pass it in the net in a fully packed box...

But this a small problem compared to the big one that we make it easy for opponents. Everyone got more clever since last season vs Leicester, they give credit to them this season, they change the way they play against them, they dont let that easy goals to be scored by them that they had many last season. Except us, we still made it easy for them, we knew what Mahrez/Vardy can do, what they need to perform well and we gave them what they needed lot of space on the edge of the defence line.

Why is that teams coming to Etihad and park the bus and counter? They dont want to make it easy for us. They are happy us having 75% of the ball passing sideaway at the back but when it matters they dont want us to have it easy, find space easily between the big holes in midfield and defence as they know KDB, Silva, Kun can exploit that easily.
So they park the bus, pack the midfield, blocking crosses etc.

They dont want for us to be easy.

What we do when up against Hazard/Costa/Pedro or Mahrez/Vardy. They are allowed to score their easiest goals...

Pep has a big staff why the fuck they dont analyze this shit happening for a long time now.

Arsenal, Liverpool games coming up in less than 20 days, they have the quality to hurt Pep's system. Even without if we make it easy for them. If we do then absolutely...
Lose both games and we will be in an awful situation for January.

How many players should it need, in position, to stop the first goal ?

Pep said every player had a chance to a place in his plans at the start of the season and he has been true to his word

He must surely now know
Clichy
Kolarov
Otamendi
Zaba
Sagna

Are not good enough defenders when we have the attacking players we have

I trust Pep will get it right

The rage is still resonating around my body to such an extent i wonder what will get broken first.

Several things don't help;

Pep smiling after performances like that.
Pep deciding that we don't need to bother defending the fast break after saying the day before that LCFC are excellent at it.
Playing the long ball now after bringing in Bravo ( if ever there was a wrong name for someone ).
Our Joe not being there to help.
Yaya not starting.
Kolorov being a wing back and 1 of 3 at the same time.

It was amateur hour last night against a team that is so predictable its painful.

Come on Pep, get a grip and stop making us look silly.

The message board or Khaldoon and co?

Is this the first genuine "sack the board" post? Lol.
There is a hole in the wall and the board instead of fixing it , it called an artist to make a painting just to hide it . Guess what ... The weather is cold and we are freezing !!!

When Pep got shot of Hart he made a massive statement. It was then vital that he replaced him with someone better, otherwise what was the point?

He came to Manchester on his winged horse and I don't think there was any supporter of any team who didn't think, You Jammy Bastards. I know I did.

The mythology of Pep is such that he is seen by all as a guarantor of success at the highest level and by that I mean he would give you the extra needed to win the CL.

The problem with that is it can engender in pep a feeling that he can do no wrong. That changing will be seen as weakness and anyway I'm fucking pep so fuck off. I on the other hand have more respect when someone says, tried that approach, it didn't work so let's change it.

Your 10 in a row, quite rightly fanned the flames of Peps glow. He could do no wrong. The game up at my team was one that going at City was the only way we could prevent a skelping of nightmare proportions.

It showed clearly that your back line were suspect if got at. Your midfield found themselves not being stood off and admired and from there they kill you.

In my view, Pep has stubbornly refused to see that and instead persisted with a defensive system that is weak. I think your replacement keepers have been suspect and that added to a defence that panics is a one way ticket to failure.

Since the game against us it is a case of being found out, and although mid to front can look world beaters but then get fucked up by abysmal defending. When you are worrying that a difficult pass could lead to the defence conceding, it tempers your ambition no matter how good you are.

You have an abundance of talent, but this is either lacking in defensive options or Pep has them but won't budge.

You need defenders who can defend first and play. Van Dyke who played for us is that type of player. You could do a lot worse.

I wouldn't panic just yet, but if the January window doesn't include defenders you can and will wave ta ta to both the Prem and the CL, as you all know.

You should have beaten Chelsea and you would have if the defence wasn't so easily breached by fast and gifted strikers. The level you operate at ensures you face them all the time. Pep obviously knows this and he needs to sort it or that winged horse will be rendered down to dog meat and glue very quickly.

He has the resources to fix it as there isn't a team who can outspend you. I thought the Hart situation was a mistake. This has been compounded by playing a defence that can't defend. I hope you get it right. This is Peps first time when the dice have fallen badly and as in life that is the true test of character.

Life's easy when it's easy. For me if he fails here then what he achieved before will be tainted with, yeah but he couldn't cut it in England.

He knows that more than anybody and needs to sort it.

I did trust Pep to get it right now I'm not so sure. What did he do in the week to prevent us being done with a high line? If Chelsea managed to do it to us 3 times Leicester sure as hell would try it. He keeps saying he's here to learn but I don't see him putting into practice what's gone wrong.

Where's the pressing as a team? Where's the inverted full backs? It's all appeared to have stopped. We were told he wouldn't accept poor performances and would put the fear into players, then Kolorov gets another chance to stink the place out rather than be on the bench. We are in the shit if he plays against Arsenal as they will run past him for fun.

How do you get hammered by a team that managed less than 100 passes against us? Our build up play was so slow and knocking crosses into a box with Ihenacho up against their giants was lunacy.

I think he needs to start putting the pressure on Bravo. Pellegrini wouldn't accept bad performances from Hart and made him work for it. I'd feel a lot more confident with Cabellero in net.

Pep has got a serious fight on his hands now, this ain't Germany or Spain. You have to be on it every 90 minutes otherwise you will get taken apart. what he does with his tenure with City will define him of how good a manager he is. We don't want it turning into Juande Ramos Mark 2.
