Leicester (H) Post Match Thread.

A propos of Kelechi's miss. A lot's being made of that, and I'd have to see the match back, but it seems to me that it was quite a bit harder than is being made out. It's not as if he's through and alone. There are at least two of ours closing in on him (can't remember who), I'm not sure if he even has time to take a touch on the ball, and Ederson had come out to exactly the right distance so as to narrow the angle. In other words, it wasn't a gaping goal in front of him, and he wasn't alone. Am I wrong?

That said, his heart was in the right place… ;-)

By the way, surely an absolute nailed-on pen on Raheem at one point? (when he's sandwiched by the two Leicester defenders…)

The ball was a bit behind him & he took the shot early. Luckily for us, he never plays, which made the difference.

Also you have to factor in how shit Iheanacho is.

Love Pep's digs: “I'm sorry for the people, but we are here ”. Twice in his immediate post-match interview.
Just drinking that in…
I loved it when Pep was asked 'how tough was that game for you?'

& he answered 'it was tougher for Leicester'

:)

Apart from the obviously awe and joy last night gave me, I was really impressed with Leicester and in particular Chilwell and Maddison. Good players, and I hope Pep's post game hugs and chat with Chilwell paves the way for him joining us in a few months time.

Just got to work waiting for the gobshite scouser who sits next to me to complain about Leicester rolling over .

Morning blues

On the train to the big smoke with a massive grin on my face, I look like a right smug get

Reckon I’ve watched the goal back at least 100 times already ....and it gets better every time! Any advances on 100?!
I've had it on repeat too! Still can't comprehend how he hit it so well, absolutely smoked it. Makes me smile and laugh everytime I see it.
