Mahrez havent played a minute in last 5 games since we lost at new White hart lane. 5 times he was unused sub in a row. As the stakes get higher with every game Pep sticks with the people he really trusts. Look at Kompany how he is playing much more games this part of the season compared to before when it was said he cannot play two in a row anymore.

It would be a huge surprise imo if Mahrez would start this or the Brighton game. Even a 20-30 minutes from the bench would be a big ask given the last 5 games he didnt get a minute from the bench.

You are entitled to your own opinion. Plus, that’s bad on our supporters part for the attacks at Roker back then. There is no excuse for that.

I actually agree with what your saying. Just because a big club or any club falls down from the heights. Other clubs shouldn’t automatically feel sorry for us. We have caused our own mess so we don’t deserve much sympathy. Especially with the whole Adam Johnson thing too.

Hopefully we are on a long road back to try sort the mess our club is in. We will see. Plus I know how it feels on a large scale, our club are the masters of getting beat by everyone. Even Joeys mighty fleetwood beat us, was hard to swallow that. Still at least been a better season compared to previous ones haha
