Leicester (N) - Community Shield | Post-Match Thread

Mahrez was not up for it yesterday. He didn’t ever look like he wanted to score. Plenty of chances to put the ball away or slip it for an easier chance, but won’t.
Mendy is possibly the most comical ‘defender’ we have in PL. He has zero special awareness and spends all his time ball watching, as for pace, I’ve seen supertankers turn quicker.

We DO NOT need Kane. What we do need to do is put the FCUKING ball into the goal at least once or twice with all the golden chances we make, our finishing is absolutely awful. Over complicating it every time, trying to walk it in or get in 6 yard box before shooting. You don’t see this from any other team. We have some amazing players, PLEASE FÜCKING SHOOT!!!!!!!!

All those screaming for Kane to be bought are off their heads. I’d rather see Delap in there.

The young lads that got their chance yesterday did ok. It was a huge ask of them, hopefully they’ll get more chances.

As for the Leicester ‘fans’, they just proved how pathetic they are. It’s like they had been let out without their carers for the day. Booing players that left years ago?? How old are you cünts???

At least we will get 40 points.

.... which should mean Sterling gets booed again as well as Grealish. Fed up with this nonsense and although players deny it, it absolutely affects their performance.
 
Apart from the Carabao Cup final wins, I’m starting to get fed up with semi-final and final defeats. Arsenal, Chelsea, Chelsea, and now Leicester.

I appreciate nothing is given in semi-finals and finals, and there are many factors that effect those games like team selection, team and player performances, luck, etc. But I can’t but think we’ve thrown away some of those possible trophy winning opportunities.

Booing players because they’ve left a club is pathetic. Dippers etc do it and we all know what dicks they are, I always thought Leicester fans were better. Obviously not.

They were up against two very good players in Ricardo and Barnes. They played very well together in our other 3 preseason friendlies. With the rest of the team not functioning as it should they struggled to make an impact. As other key players attain form and fitness I'm sure they will make more telling contributions.
