everyone seems to be flapping how shit we are and granted we are struggling away but we are only 3 fucking points behind
 
Disappointed we didn't beat them. They are a long ball team with a rapid striker who runs a lot they were shit. The amount of times they gifted us possession we really should have punished them.
I can see why Arsenal put 5 past them. I can't see them lasting if that's how they play. Too much reliance on effort and not enough quality. We will banter them at home
 
Felt like we were having all the little decisions against us all match and it would have been a penalty if we were one of the favored teams. Aside from failing to find the net and lacking the final ball(a lot of that is to do with Leicester defending their hearts out) I was at least pleased to see our team not giving up chasing balls and harrying them on the ball, aside from a few spells here and there unlike in other games we've had so far against teams like this. With the way they've played in past weeks they'd have switched off and started walking after them not sensing danger(especially after a long spell of possession in their half comes to an end) only for the other team to snatch a goal.
 
Same review as in the match thread:

We did well, pitty we were robbed by the Ref. Pen should have been given.

Sterling my motm, good performance by Joe Hart too, sagna i digged too, overall defense should be given credit for keeping the clean sheet which is a positive change except for Kolarov for making Sterling do his dirty work.

We created a good amount of chances, pitty we didn't convert and/or were ROBBED. Fucking **** ref.
 
I thought we were pretty good tonight. Plenty of effort, much more solid than we have been (and what I feared).

Loving the first clean sheet in ages, 3 points would have been great but I'm not complaining too much.
 
Commentators so biased it was laughable, Hargreaves & hoddle were both hoping Leicester scored everytime they attacked.
 
Leicester were very disappointing. Before the game I'd have taken a point, but having seen the game, frustrating not to win it.

Mangala and Otamendi did well. I don't think any of the City outfield played that well. Although we dominated possession, we didn't look like scoring. Kolarov totally dominated Mahrez, and got a lot of overlaps in, but most of the time his crossing was poor.

Aguero was a waste of space, and in terms of this game, we'd have been better off with Bony or Iheanacho, but it seems to be the only way to get him fit is to play him. At least he survived and will be inching his way back to form.
 
Real lack of quality going forward. Defended well for most part. Their chances only came from sloppy play by us (too many times). Some players really need to learn to play within their limits. No Kolarov, you're not Roberto Carlos and never will be. Sterling naïve at times (although he was our best player). Still waiting for Silva and Aguero to get up to speed. We weren't sharp enough inside their box and yet again we find a team willing to work harder and put their bodies on the line more than we are. Ihenacho could have been longer. Foul on Aguero looks more a penalty each time you see it. Otamendi should be ashamed of his play acting trying to get Huth a red.
 
Bony get grief yet Aguero given a free pass again -apart from one or two games he hasn't turned up this season (and let's not talk about the past, because otherwise Yaya would never deserve to be slated). The attack except for sterling was average at best.

Yaya and Fern did ok overall, apart from one or two small gripes, but held their own.

The defense was solid. Mangala and Ota both very good , sagna was solid, kolrov a mess however.

Better performance and a clean sheet.

However 3 points from 18 away is dire. We must win at Watford now.

Would like to see us go for it a bit more away. De Bruyne away from home they just doesn't seem the same player.
 
Did the PGMOL forget to email City to them it's ok our players can be kicked and manhandled constantly but if we do the same it's a yellow?
 
We were much the better team and although a draw is 2 points dropped we can at least take some positives from the game.
1 Clean sheet and defence looked much better than usual ( Mangala had a cracking game apart from silly foul near the end)
2 More minutes for Silva and Aguero to get them up to match speed.
3 Even a **** like Pawson wasnt able to give anything that cost us defensively.

We should beat Watford and then hopefully go om a winning run. CTID
