im going to stick my neck out here.... i thought the team selection was fine. Ok i would have picked Clichy over Kolarov but whatever, i didnt pick it.

honestly, we are the home team, we do NOT play 3 defensive midfielders!! 2 is ample. Fernandinho was very poor and Delph struggled. Ya Ya is there to provide a constant source of attacking moves but he was shit and the 2 DFs failed. thus the team failed.

the defence panicked with no screening and the rest is history. Leicester were good but we fell on our sword. useless. Pellers partly to blame, players should shoulder a lot of it too.

His lack of preparation on the opposition is scandalous. He must think we're this Barça/Bayern/Madrid level team who can just turn up against anyone and do 'em in.

He's showing himself up now, without the drilled defensive mentality that overlapped from Mancini's era we have been bobbins under him. He's out of his depth and clearly not good enough.

Would we be any worse off without him now 'til the end of the season?

Team picked itself. I wouldn't have played Toure, but I can understand why Pellegrini did.

We just got off to an awful start and didn't have enough quality to get ourselves back in it. Leicester had the better players in Vardy and Mahrez.

FABIAN DELPH LEFT MID!! Enough said.

Currently, I'd rather see Kelechi or Celina start ahead of Silva anyway. Look at performance levels, not their names.

I agree, Tricky.

Merlin is badly out of form and as much as it pains me to say it, he doesn't deserve his place in the starting XI at the moment.

However, you do know that we'll be hung drawn and quartered for expressing such views on Bluemoon, don't you?

The seeds for this season were sown in May 2013 when the club decided the players must, in every situation, be given more power than the manager.

It did for Mancini, and it has done for Pellegrini.

Do not be too surprised if pep has second thoughts before June. He is a sensible, intelligent man. Will he really want to risk his entire reputation having to manage a team where his boss makes it very plain that in a dispute between the two, the players will always have their side taken. Every time.

I wouldn't if I was him.

Bull called. He wants his shit back.

Mancini wasn't given the power because he didn't have the ability to be trusted with it. He would have been our own Van Gaallardyce if he was entrusted with that much influence.

Pellegrini has been a peacemaker and an antidote to Mancini, nothing more.

That shite about Pep having second thoughts was good fun though, did you rip that from ragcaf?

adjusted that for you there :)

Leicester deserved the win today, so fair play to them and I hope they do now go on to win the league. But from where I was stood in row A of 115, we should've had two absolutely stone wall penalties at 1-0 down. Firstly, when Zaba was fouled running into the box it looked at least two yards inside and then when Dinho was shoved over from a corner not long after! Both of these decisions would have had a huge impact on the game and probably would've changed the final result as it changes the psychology in a game.

Also, the ref did the typical thing today where once the momentum is with one team, he seems to almost side with that team and any 50/50s or contentious decisions go their way, because that's the easy option for him.

I can't wait to have Vinny back. Sick of watching Yaya strut around without a care in the world and the rest of the team looking around for inspiration and all they see is the game bypassing him. Was glad there were a few boos when he went off, he needs to know that what he's produced for large parts of this season has not been good enough.

Pelli also said ' we must keep on fighting'...
I'm afraid we've got so many casualties we've run out of stretcher bearers. Indifference in the face of the enemy is a court martial offence for those that are left on the field though.

A few blindfolds and a firing squad will be required when we finally surrender.
