He wouldn't find the Etihad on a map mate.

Totally agree with you.
Probably the same group of lads who were trying to lynch us in October/November when we were painting the picture and showing the warning signs for Bony/Manuel/Toure. It's sad that we pointed all of this out last year and yet it's still ongoing.

Silva hasn't been anywhere near his best this season.

Whether his ankle has finally caught up on him remains to be seen but we will be without him now for a while.

You can talk about the best squad all you like but when it lacks real depth of quality is it easily found out even by opposition like Leicester.

If a couple of our players are off the boil we are pretty easy fodder for the opposition.

The way Spurs are playing at present they will rip us apart next week.

Ridiculous post .

Sterling is right up there with the worst buys we have made. His touch is awful. He's lightweight, easy to move off the balll and goes down at the slightest touch. An utter waste of money.
I'm going to wait to judge him till he plays in a team with a plan. Imagine him playing for Leicester. He'd be a fucking demon.

Unfortunately (well kind of) I was unable to attend the game today due to the fact I was at uni but from what it seems the scoreline paints the right picture due to our performance today.

I want filled with the upmost confidence especially after our poor performance against Sunderland last week. Having said all that in the big picture what Leicester have achieved so far this season is nothing short of brilliant, albeit their poor run in domestic cup competitions what they have done in the league so far is similar to Blackburn in 95', complete underdogs and favourites to go down but what Ranieri has done to this team is nothing but sheer quality. It's shit that we just happen to be on the receiving end of this but it shouldn't prevent any of us just to take a step back and admire how well they are doing, this hasn't been sheer luck on their part as they've been consistently good all season in the league and if they do end up champions it's only what they deserve.

Leicester defended in numbers - as a team.
They broke in numbers - as a team.
They played very well - as a team.

We look tired, devoid of ideas, and unable / unwilling to put in the effort. It's as though we believe intricate passes are a substitute for hard work rather than complementing it.

Very very disappointing and we've given ourselves a mountain to climb. Morale is now low and we face some very difficult games. All in all, we don't deserve to win the league. 4th place would probably be a fair assessment of the season so far.

Rather sad to see us surrender possession up the park and then watch our midfielders give chase for ten yards before throwing the towel in and stopping.

Celina looked strange to me when he came on. He had energy, pace, movement desire and purpose. In fact he looked like a Leicester player.

Pellegrini has flogged all our best players to death. It's bad enough having the group of death in the Champions League but seriously going for Capital One Cup? It wasn't a question of attitude today, there's nothing left in the tank.

Hart, Zaba, KDB, Kun, Kompany,Silva,Kelechi, - Defiantly Keep next season
Fenandinho, Sterling, Clichy & Delph(only because both are HG) - keep but not starters
Otamendi(only because we havnt had him for even a year) , Mangala , Navas , Sagna, Caballero - sell if we can get a half decent price
MDM, Kolarov, Fernando , Bony(no lack of passion, hes just truly awful), Nasri, Yaya

this team should of been transitioning along time ago but we did what chelsea did and kept hold of a team that grew old together and just havnt been replaced, hence no hunger or energy in the team.

The ones in bold are the only leaders we have and 2 of them havnt played alot this season, so we have had Yaya captain (wtf , worst attitude in the team) and Kolarov (again wtf) i cant see why Zaba or Hart doesn't get the armband when Kompany isn't available.

We host Tottenham next, but Pelle wont be watching them, how they might set up what they might play, its like completely doesnt matter we play counter team or posession team, a team more direct with long balls or a team prefers to play with short passing etc.

If Pelle makes a few tweaks maybe that has nothing to do with the opponent 99% of the time. Mabye injury related things.

I expect Kane, Eriksen and especially Alli having a great game next weekend.

Exactly as I said. Pellegrini doesn't do any preparation.

Plays the same all out attacking no matter what. So inept and naive.

what an absurd post.

As if MP would be ruining our season on purpose?? Not sure how you can say he sent a team out with little preparation. Have you attended every training session this week? Poor preparation, wrong set up and tactics maybe but to suggest there has been no preparation for todays game is plain silly.

Great idea - sack MP. Like Rafa will come to keep his slippers warm for Pep.

People need to grow up. We lost a game. Yes thats bad and the portents for the rest of the season are ominous but get a grip folks its every time we lose or have a bad performance that BM becomes embarasssing

Every man and his dog knew how Leicester were going to play today. Just like everyone knew how Liverpool were going to play. Yet our manager sends us out there so unprepared that the opposition players just have a field day. The Leicester players were just waltzing past us at times.

Also, its not one game though is it. Time and time again we play right into the oppositions hands and get battered by teams with inferior players.

We have ambitions to become the best side in Europe and are spending to do so but we are getting hammered left, right and centre by the likes of Stoke and Leicester. We cannot string together back to back wins and the players are playing some turgid football in the process.

Dynamo Kiev are a counter attacking team and have some very dangerous players. If Pellegrini sets us up anything like he did today we will get hammered.

Well played Leicester..played us off the park..hope they win it if we don't..sterling was shite..poor mans swp..have Leicester had any injuries this season?

we are really going to struggle without silva kevin navas nasri in the very important games we have coming, pellegrini today was baffling i have no idea why clichy didnt play this game, not a good day at all our best player was a reserve player who actually put in a half decent cross into the box, sterling has to play on the right in games like this imo as well

Guardiola will have some work to do, thats for sure- Easy job, eh? If this is easy job then I dont know what to say

Not really. he's a manager who can setup a team correctly, have a clear game plan and consider the oppositions strengths and weaknesses. The tools are there we just have a completely inept workman right now.

Knew Kolarov would be the first to get slated on here. Zab was a lot worse on the other flank and Otamendi was a complete mess at the back and looked amateur yet again. Kolarov just did what he was asked to do, did nobody see him first half when he broke forward got to the byline on a break looked for a cross to see nobody in the box, not a single player. He put his hands out as if to gesture "where are you?" checked his cross and still nobody got into the box, eventually he was forced to just hit it off the defender for a corner. That theme continued throughout the game. Don't think it's accept to use the term best after that but he was one of the least shit players today, he was doing what was asked of him, not his fault the manager has given him utterly pointless instructions.

Ref was probably the worst i've witnessed in a long while too. the third goal was never a corner and it looked like a foul although i'm not sure on that without seeing a replay. However, that's not an excuse the ref was bad but he didn't really have a huge impact on the outcome, that was all down to Pellegrini.

You can't go into games against high energy, pressing and fast counter-attacking teams without a proper midfield. It was the same at home to Liverpool and away at Spurs. We just don't have a midfield. Silva and Yaya do no tackling, you cannot play them both against this type of opposition

I didn't think it was possible to rate one of our players a zero but I can't seem to go higher than that for Kolarov. What a joke of a performance.

Four months since we won two league games on the trot. That is quite fucking unbelievable.
Don't cherry pick statistics. They become redundant if you do. (Yours, for example, suggests we've been poor in the league. In actual fact, we're currently second). Leave that shite to Sky etc., please.
Fact is, we won our last three games in a row before this farce of an effort.

We lost today because we didn't work hard enough; either with or without the ball.

Absolutely. I can't believe he didn't call him a corpse.
The corpse ****
