You do wonder what goes on in Pellegrini's mind. "This week we are up against Jamie Vardy, one of the league's fastest players. I think I will bring Martin Demichalis in for this one!"

And I'll also make sure he marks that chap Huth at set pieces...

I won't be clapping him on our final home game, he deserves fuck all for the shambolic past two seasons. All this crap about dignity in the way he's held himself since last Monday.

How about some fucking dignity on the pitch Manuel?

A fucking shambles.

And by playing 2 attacking fullbacks left our centre backs completely isolated. We paid absolutely no respect to our opponent and we deserved nothing from this game.
The attacking fullbacks was the deciding tactical error on Pellegrinis side in my humble opinion.

Pellegrini has surely got to be purposely ruining our season to get back at the club because no one is that fucking inept at a job.

I'm lost for words to describe how fucking shite he has made us. It's incredible. No wonder the press are all licking his arse now, they want the fraud to stay and ruin us even more.

I have never seen a manager be so arrogant and send a team out with so little preparation that the formation plays right into our opponents hands. He's done it against Liverpool, Leicester and Arsenal. The only sides we have beaten in the top 10 is Southampton and Watford. It is simply not good enough.

I'd sack him immediately and hope to temp someone like Rafa in on a short term basis.
I agree and he is now saying he will play yougsters against Chelsea. They will probably do better than the so called seniors but surely he can't be thinking we will win the Champs League? We are better getting out of it before we get totally embarrased by Barcelona or Bayern. We have more chance of winning the FA Cup so he should play the strongest team possible against Chelsea and if the poor dears are too tired to play against Kiev play the yougsters there.

The powers that be have to take the blame also, they appointed him and recruited the players. It's been 18 months of absolute dross.

I think his massive wages help him to keep dignity and who is that creepy looking guy next to him on no doubt obscene wages? It's his best mate but what does he actually do?

Agree totally......we were bad today, end of. That game's over now, so let's concentrate on the next one..

I would go on about individual performances today, but no doubt that's all been discussed....totally fed up. Plus my son lost his District Match today as well and has a Semi Final in the Kent County Cup tomorrow. ....They say 3s......errrrrrrrrr

It's now fair to say Yaya and Silva are regressing. We can't keep relying on Kun/De Bruyne to bail us out with individual class. I wouldn't be surprised if we take a serious look at Mahrez this summer.

While younger , fitter , more talented and above hungry players who know how to grind the opposition into the turf that have a work ethic with no equal is required at this club now what is crucial is how they gel as a team and get the best out of each other under the guise of a manager who can guide that consistently is just if not more important.

Talking of players who look good against us in one off games and your list would be long.

Our recruitment has in the main been poor as we struggle to find the right balance of players who perform well in Europe and domestically often enough.

Our spine has been around for far too long and its now jaded and lacks the desire and ability to do the job more than the two times they have.

You can't expect any more no matter who is charge with Chelsea being a prime example.

I take some solace in the fact MP is not the type of manager that players will walk on hot coals for they have clearly given up on the title with the " possibility " of going further into Europe than before seen with more delight.

Whether the implode enough to ensure we are not in the Chumps League remains to be seen but its not looking good.

Next week we give us a clear indication.

It's not surprising though is it with Pellegrini in charge. No wins against any side in the top 6 and still spurs, arsenal and rags to come from that group with Liverpool and Chelsea away for good measure. I can't see us breaking 75 points this season and to be honest it could be worse than that. After 15/15 it's criminal how we have regressed.

Just a very bad day with the team selection and tactics. We knew it was going to be speed vs technique and we tried to widen the pitch by going down the flanks with no end product. Wrong people for this game plan and the price is a performance we wish to not have witnessed. Speed, ambush play and solid defending won today. They managed to null aguero and we were unable to null vardy et all.

this all day long. Pellegrini has us position and play like a pressing team only without the actual pressing. We commit everyone forward and play a high line to press and force a turn over high up the pitch only we don't press and a simple 1-2 or ball over the top completely exposed us and leaves the two cbs isolated. Now put a 35 yr old demichelis there and tell ottamendi and the midfielders to dive in to every tackle and we get what happened today.

Shameful management.

He's a clown. A very nice man, seemingly, but tactically inept and unable to learn from repeated mistakes.

What a failure this season will be if we come up short, based on the quality of our challengers, and the reinforcements we made.

Agree with you but if us fans can see it then surely the likes of Txiki (DoF) can. You would have thought someone would have had a word?

Here's my musings from the Pre-match thread:

"This fixture is absolutely tailor made to Leicester's strengths.

Hit the opposition at speed on the break or with balls over the top for pace to run onto.

2 things we don't handle at all well.

Vardy will be as excited as fuck at the thought of old man Demichelis trying to track him.

It's imperative we don't have one of our 'we'll only start playing in the 70th minute' games and are on these cunts from the first kick.

It's also imperative we take our chances and we don't fuck about trying to walk it over the goal line.

'Must not lose' game."

Was so blatantly obvious how this game was going to pan out. Even down to the shit start (in both halves I might add).

This is a manager who does absolutely fuck all to coach his players or to negate the opposition. I've said this countless times but it genuinely feels to me like he doesn't even know who we're playing against most of the time and he just sends 11 blokes out and says 'crack on lads'. He has absolutely zero grasp of how to nullify the other team. Zero.

The coaching is that poor we can't even defend simple corners properly and we don't even look like we know what to do when we get a throw in ffs.

Further, how the fuck is Toure captain when he cant even complete 60 minutes due to being so old and past it?

Shit of the very highest order.

The guy behind me declared that "Leicester were fighting for their lives". I understood why he said it, but it was clearly wrong, they weren't 'fighting for their lives' they were simply displaying the level of commitment, passion and team spirit that any fan of any team has a right to expect. It just looked that way because our players played without any passion, any commitment or any team spirit, which for a group of professionals competing for four trophies is worrying. Yaya is now the guy you bring on, not the guy you take off, why Delph came off for Fernando and not Yaya is beyond me. Kolorov had a stinker albeit he wasn't alone in that, we all know we're struggling at centre back so sacrifices have to be made to protect them in matches like this. Manuel has some serious work to do to lift this team before Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool and Kiev.

Strange feeling coming home from the match today, usually I would be fucking fuming and my weekend ruined but I don't feel like that.Maybe I'm still buzzing from the Pep news or I have finally admitted to myself that we have been shit for most of the season and are not good enough to win the league this season.Too many times have I scratched my head at team selection and gone mad as fuck at a lack of effort and desire from certain players. In my opinion the football this season from us has been some of the worst I have witnessed since the takeover and only individual brilliance from certain players has stopped this season being a complete shambles. One things for sure blues, next season will be like no other we have ever witnessed and I for one can't wait! Oh and congrats to Leicester today thought they were excellent.

Pellegrini said: "We're not in our best moment - we have just 14 players fit. We need to recover as soon as we can from this defeat.

Most of these were struggle with injuries during the Jan transfer window....I understand why we didnt buy with a new manager coming but we did nothing to help the situation when we had the chance, so Pelle cant really use this as an excuse.......

Pelli also said ' we must keep on fighting'.

Keep on fighting?

Start fighting would be more fucking like it. Fucking out classed in every way today. If I was in charge, I'd fine the lazy bastards a weeks wages. They'd be in training tomorrow at 8 am, and I'd apologise to the club for smashing up the changing room at full time.
