This all looks very good but it wasn't really.

Has anyone (who saw the whole match) pointed out how poor Kompany and Lescott were or are they immune from criticism normally reserved for Demichelis?

Not sure whether Komps gave the ball away 12 or 15 times, each of which could've led to a goal in the PL.

I'll hope it was just carelessness.

You must have saw a different game to the rest of us

My point exactly. If Demichelis had been caught in possession so much there would be hell to pay. It was at least a dozen but folk just blot it from the consciousness because 'oh well Vinnie's a good player'.

He is, no doubt, but he's getting accident prone - twice at Southampton, loads last night.

Demi is very good on the ball and gets lots of support. That said, Leicester may have played a different game last night knowing Demi likes to rush out of defence or hold back and play everyone on side.

It made sense to play our best central defenders last night who were going to get stuck in against an in form Leicester.

Yes agreed Tim it was always going to be a bruising one, and of course championship players dont stand off like Premier ones do. Still job done.

Did the job thoughr we played well first half but dsropped off in the second.

We still seem to give teams a chance and Leicester had a go after their goal. MP needs to start learning to shut up shop and just close games out.

Where was Jovetic?

Finally Rodwell aint no where near good enough and even Javi offers more than him - sooner he goes the better

Rodwell not good enough? Even though last year when played he was excellent and this is his first game (full game) back in a while. He showed great drive and kept the tempo high and got into scoring positions (unfortunately he missed a few chances but again he hasn't played for a while)

Thought Rodwell did well last night. Dropped off a bit later on, but so did the whole team.

Comfortable win made easier by lack of belief from Leicester especially in the first half.
Positives: Dzeko had a very good game. Milner and Silva v good
Negatives: Rodwell and Garcia looked like an accident waiting to happen all night long.
Overall a very enjoyable evening and great atmosphere at the Kingpower.
For once I hope the rags get through and we get a chance to bury them twice in a semi.

I thought Rodwell was OK all things considered

I agree with the top post, but thought Rodwell at least tried to be adventurous at times and clearly has some skills. Garcia meanwhile does little wrong ... he does f*** all.
All in all, whatever pellers says, we can't really hope to play the same way with whoever is trying to replace Yaya and Ferny, but we could do better than last night.

not a fan of rodwell always seems to be playing his own game and not what the team requires
city did well but, liecester had a few injuries they were very poor fortunately
