Baines had the chance to move to Bayern a couple of years ago and turned it out down. I wouldn't want us to target such an ambitionless player.

Obviously prefers to stay in his comfort zone.

Just when you thought United couldn't put more crosses into the box... expect them to redefine 'one dimensional' next season. Thiago's job will be to pass it to Baines or a winger.

It's amazing that people call players mercenaries who move as soon as they have chance for more money/bigger club and complain that in modern football there is no loyalty. But when players stays with smaller cub then it's lacking ambitions

Because it's outside his comfort zone. If you were a professional footballer, at the end of your career you'd be content in the knowledge you'd missed out on winning the Champions League because you didn't want to try living in a different country?
