His best attribute is his ability with freekicks but if you think RVP is gonna let him have a sniff of the ball anywhere within 35 yrds of goal you're bonkers!
No better defender than Evra and wont be allowed to take free kicks. Meh!

Agreed. He'd be an improvement on Evra and, one who could supply the forward line and contribute a fair bit himself. Stooping a world class leftback thaat would himself provide easily 15-20 assist next season(10 times better then the current fraud at united). not to mention he IMO is better then clichy. so its not just to stop him going to another club. Munich do this all the time so its not something totally outrageous.
