Like Baines but can't understand why we would go for BOTH Baines and Cliche
Of the 2 i would prefer Baines as he offers a bit more to the team

Sorry but a guy who can't go to the world cup because of homesickness and missing his mum is not mentally tough enough for what we need. Would he play away in the champs league? Would he go on pre season tours? Cliché at his best was miles better so let's get him back to his best

Rather have Clichy and Kolarov before Baines. So quite happy it looks as if that's what we're doing.

There are plenty of reasons not to buy Baines. First and foremost being he's crap at defending.
Secondly the price for us would be in excess of £25M when he's not worth £10M.
Thirdly I don't want the club to to financially keep Everton afloat again.
Fourth, I don't want to see Moyes grotesque face in the papers every day moaning about how we are ruining football and have no class.
Fifth and finally I don't want bluemoon overrun with scally dippers on day release from Walton telling us how much we've changed since the money came in and we're not a proper club like dat der Everton.

Sixth, Clichy is a much better player, with bags of Champions League experience.
