Think Bonucci he will be good for another 4 years, I get the feeling city think a few academy lads will be ready in next 12/18 months so don't want to block their paths.
Very much this IMO,believe it or not, this has been very well thought out........

It satifies both short term and long term strategy.

Yes I have seen him obviously for Italy and Juve but I do not watch Italian football every week , do you (I would be surprised) .I am also sure you haven't scouted him extensively .Like I said age concerns me that's my opinion . Yes I note those young players KDB and sterling etc , I also note Silva ,Yaya,Vinnie,Clichy,Saba,Sagan etc etc
No shame from me pal just my opinion

Your opinion is sily then, because you know how good he is yet are off-put by the fact he's 29. As if Pep Guardiola and Manchester City as a whole should miss an opportunity to acquire one of the consensus best CBs in the game, with a unique skillset tailor made for Pep's game, just because of his age.

Oh no, we have some players approaching 30! Who gives a fuck how old they are as long as we are playing well and winning? Isn't that most important?

I actually think he'd do a decent job as a RWB.

He works incredibly hard and he tracks back. He also makes good tackles.
His only downside as a winger was putting the cross into the box and scoring so by being at right back the focus wont be on these two things.

Also there is something about Kolarov. I reckon Kolarov will be amazing under Pep

Come on ffs! Stones is 22, Rulli is 24, Gundogan is 25, Sane is 20.

Add that to Sterling 21 and De Bruyne 25. We are fine.

Ffs. ???????

Stones and Sane and Rulli not signed unless I missed something ? Gundogan injured (at present),sterling suffering from a lack of confidence .

Older players Zaba , Sagna,Clichy,,Vinnie,Nolito,Yaya,Fernandinho ,kolo

Opinions pal

I would prefer to sign players around Gundogans age that are just the step below that are slightly cheaper and can progress and dominate for years and years.
Young players that are hungry and want to win trophies.
Does he really want to leave Turin and come and play for Man City or is he after a big final payoff .Who knows

Who knows and who cares?

He's one of the best centre backs in the world, not will be, he is, right now. He may not come to City, but if there's a chance that he will then we'd be stupid not to exaust all options to get it because he will make us that much better. Not just this season, but for potentially four seasons.

We'd all prefer players around Gundogan's age, but Bonucci isn't Gundogan and Pep wants Bonucci. At some point, even if you disagree, you have to stop and let the best manager in the world do what he does best.
