How can it be confirmed today when Schalke sporting director has told BILD that reports from Spain are " false and nothing has changed with Leroy Sané" !

Anyway, hopefully he will end up at City.
He is the only player I am excited about.

Leroy alone are not enough.
Kun will not be healthy all season, at some point he will miss a month or two per season.
while inexperience Nacho are still has a lot to learn.
City need another proven goalscorer and compatible with City style of play.
sign another striker, and City are well covered in offensive area in this transfer window.

We already have one his name is Ineachio he cost us buttons

Not sure which part of this you're not getting. When Bony goes ( which surely he must ) then we would be left with just Aguero and Nacho as recognised strikers. A bad injury to one or both will leave us in a very difficult position.
Just try and draw a comparison with our two championship winning seasons when we had four recognised strikers each time. We need a minimum of three for coming season and for me the preference would be the above two plus Aubameyang. Sane would also be a great addition to the squad but not as a recognised striker.
Nacho will get game time and be allowed to develop.

Manchester City target Leroy Sane has been told that remaining at Schalke will be better for his development by new teammate Naldo.

City have been linked with a £40 million move for the 20-year-old, who is currently at the European Championships with the Germany national side.

However, Naldo who will join Schalke on a free transfer from Wolfsburg, has urged the winger to remain at Schalke for another season to further improve.

The 33-year-old says that Sane should follow the example of his former Werder Bremen teammate Mesut Ozil, who rejected high-profile offers in 2009. Ozil became Werder's main playmaker -- making 46 appearances and securing his place in the national team for the 2010 World Cup.

Naldo told German newspaper Sport Bild: "He needs trust for his development. He gets that at Schalke, that's why it's important that he stays.

Thanks Chris...Seems like everyone, other than Naldo would say, learning from the best manager in world football is the best way to develop!; )

Don't get why some people are disagreeing. It's a no brainer for me. It's aubameyang ffs not Peter crouch
