This would be excellent news.....With the rumours that we have moved on from Aubameyang because of the asking price, it makes sense Sane being plan B....He is a natural wide attacking player and some reports say, he could end up as a striker.......so is able to fill the similar need to Aubameyang....would be a great, great signing...just hope its true!;)

Sane isn't and never was Plan B. For a start they both play different positions, I can guarentee that Guardiola wants both players, not just one of them. Aubameyang isn't the type of player to play as an inside forward or a winger, he's a central striker just like Aguero. Sane however can play as a winger or an inverted/inside forward.

You could be right mate.....I could just see Sane filling a similar role for Pep as Aubameyang would have done....especially if the rumours are true that some feel he could play striker as well a wide attacking player...

plus san his nowhere near the finished article yet so no way he is a replacement for Aubamayang. There is no telling if he will reach that level
